On hot days, you can go to a nearby beach (~3km) across the lake from the house, take a long walk or mushrooms in the woods (~2km). You can visit nearby historic cities e.g. Morąg (~12km), Miłakowo (~2km), Orneta (~18km). There are hundreds of lakes and beaches in the area where you can easily rent water equipment in the form of a boat, kayaks, water bikes, e.g. Crete (~20km), Bogaczewo (~15 km). If you are interested in shooting, please contact me! My dad runs a shooting range (~12km) where you can easily rent a gun and shoot under the supervision of an experienced instructor. The shooting range is in an open space (see it on YT by entering "shooting range Obuchowo k. Morąga"). You can get there by car by entering the village of OBUCHOWO in the navigation.
An additional amenity during a holiday or winter getaway is a mobile store that stops in front of the house in the morning informing you of this loud horn. You can buy basic groceries in the form of bread or milk, salty or sweet snacks, or even some home chemistry items. Bigger shopping, you'll do the closest in Miłaków (~2km).
