Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
Some info has been automatically translated.
You can relax in our lovingly renovated and furnished guest suite on the edge of the forest.
This is the place to read, write, meditate, cook, stargaze, mushroom pick (dehydrator available), feed chickens, campfire, forest walks and wildlife watching.
If you want to unwind and enjoy nature for a while, this is the place. The place is also good for slightly longer breaks, such as writing a book.

The space
The small apartment is located in a former stable building, which is being renovated piece by piece. It has its own terrace with a fireplace.
Sleeping,- living room and kitchen area with stove/ oven and fridge are L-shaped and are located together in one room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. If a certain utensil is missing, we will gladly provide it from our house.
In addition to the double bed (160 cm wide), a side bed for children up to about 3 years is available if necessary.
The exposed vaulted ceiling of the former stable is an eye-catcher.
The modern bathroom with walk-in shower is accessible from the kitchen area.
The total living space without the terrace is about 28 square meters.
At the kitchen table or the table on the terrace, you can easily work with the laptop.
In winter, the apartment is heated with a modern fireplace.

Guest access
In addition to the apartment with terrace and fireplace, there is a garden with hammock.

Other things to note
If the apartment is booked on the date you choose, we will have a converted construction trailer for two people on the same property from March 2026.
Our little village is quite remote. If you come by train, I'll be happy to pick you up in Walddrehna.
The kitchen is fully furnished but not very large. If you need a specific baking pan, another knife, a dehydrator for the collected mushrooms, a waffle iron or whatever, we will gladly bring it to you from our household.
The property has three cats and chickens. Pets are welcome if they get along with ours.
A 230 volt Schukostecker and a 400 Volt CE plug and cable are available for electric vehicles. Please bring an appropriate adapter for your vehicle.

Neighborhood highlights

The farm, which we are preparing piece by piece, is located on a large plot of land in a remote, small village in the forest.
There is a small restaurant with game specialties and a school and local history museum in the village.
On forays through forest and heath, with a little luck and patience you can see red deer, roe deer, a wood grouse or even a wolf. Often you will not meet anyone on multi-hour hikes.
All the nature pictures here in the ad were taken within about five kilometers of our village.
The natural highlight from the end of August to the end of September is the red deer bridge around the village.
From September to November there are many edible mushrooms in the forest.
The nearest lake is about 15 minutes away by car, two more are about 25 minutes away.
In the Spreewald, 30 minutes away, you can take beautiful paddle tours and boat rides.
South Brandenburg is very poor in precipitation by German standards, which is why the chance of nice weather is particularly good with us.

Originally from Frankfurt am Main, I arrived here in southern Brandenburg via various stations. I like the country life, the forest, the people and the nature here and it gives me pleasure to prepare the old farm in the forest piece by piece. The small guest apartment in a former stable and the converted construction trailer help us to cover the costs.
