Peace and quiet

Some info has been automatically translated.
In our lovingly renovated and furnished guest suite on the edge of the forest, you will find peace and quiet.
This is the place to read, write, meditate, cook, star gaze, mushroom forage, feed chickens, for campfires, forest walks and animal watching.
If you want to switch off for a while and enjoy nature, this is the place. The place is also well suited for longer breaks, such as writing a book.

The space
The small apartment is located in a former stable building, which is being renovated piece by piece. It has its own terrace with a fireplace.
Sleeping, living and kitchen area with stove/oven and fridge are L-shaped and are located together in one room. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. If a certain utensil is missing, we will gladly provide it from our house.
In addition to the double bed (160 cm wide), there is also an extra bed for children up to approx. 3 years.
An eye-catcher is the exposed vaulted ceiling of the former stable.
The modern bathroom with walk-in shower is accessible from the kitchen area.
The total living space without terrace is about 28 square meters.
You can easily work with your laptop at the kitchen table or the table on the terrace.
In winter, the apartment is heated with a fireplace.

Guest access
In addition to the apartment with terrace and fireplace, there is a garden with hammock.

Other things to note
The kitchen is fully equipped, but not very large. If you need a specific baking dish, another knife, a waffle iron or whatever, we will gladly bring it to you from our household.
The property has three cats and chickens. Pets are welcome if they get along with ours.
For electric vehicles, a 230 volt Schuko plug and a 400 volt CE plug and cable are available. You should bring a suitable adapter for your vehicle yourself.

Neighborhood highlights

The farm, which we are preparing piece by piece, is located on a large plot of land in a remote, small village in the forest.
There is a small restaurant with game specialties and a school and local history museum in the village.
While roaming through the forest and heath, with a little luck and patience you can see red deer, roe deer, a wood grouse or even a wolf.
The natural highlight from the end of August to the end of September is the red deer rutting season around the village.
From September to November, there are many edible mushrooms in the forest.
The nearest lake is about 15 minutes away, two more are about 25 minutes away.
In the Spreewald, which is 30 minutes away, you can take beautiful paddle tours and boat trips.
South Brandenburg is very poor in precipitation for German standards, which is why the chance of nice weather is particularly good with us.

Originally from Frankfurt am Main, I arrived in Southbrandenburg via various stations here outside. I like the country life, the forest, the people and nature here and it makes me happy to prepare the old farm in the forest piece by piece.
