Our villa is centrally located and easily accessible via E40 Brussels-Gent.
The villa is equipped with groups of 12 people.
Be amazed by the eclectic interior in the Hollywood Regency style.
We spared no expense or effort on the decor of the villa.
From here visit the historic cities of Ghent, Bruges, Brussels, Aalst.
In the neighborhood there are very good restaurants, hiking trails, nature reserves such as the Kalkense Meersen, and a sports adventure park in neighboring Aalst

The original villa dates back to the 1960s and has been expanded over the years and equipped with comfort and safety...
There are still new fixes and remodels.


There is always a minimum of 24 hours between the departure of the guests and the arrival of new guests.
The villa is always thoroughly cleaned and cleaned after every departure. Bathrooms and toilets get an extra cleaning and disinfecting turn as always.


The electrical installation is inspected every 5 years, smoke detectors and CO2 detectors are provided, fire extinguishers are provided in various rooms for safety prevention measures....

There is NO TV available, you can chat a lot to your heart's content and have fun with your family and friends ;)
The well-equipped kitchen is equipped with fridge, ceramic cooking fire, oven, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker, crockery, pots, cutlery.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 = double bed, bedroom 2 = double bed, bedroom 3 for 4 people= double bed and 2 single beds.
Bedroom 4 on the ground floor for 4 people = 4 single beds
In summary, we have 3 double beds and 6 single beds, which is a total of 12 people.

On the ground floor there are 2 renovated bathrooms.
Bathroom 1 with walk-in shower and sink, bathroom 2 with shower, sink and toilet.
There are also 2 separate toilets on the ground floor.
The large garden has sunny terraces with garden tables and chairs.
The terrace at the back invites you in the morning in the eastern sun for breakfast.
The large terrace in the front has the sun until the evening hours and is extremely suitable for cozy dinners and/or BBQs

The house is at the disposal of our guests, except for the cellars and the attic areas ( it is not allowed to enter them) and 2 storage rooms upstairs to the main bathroom ( these are locked )

Visit the Rubbens ginners in Wichelen (by appointment ), you can possibly combine this with a gin-tasting and you can also book or dine in their restaurant.

A very good restaurant is "Den Boterhoek" a very good brasserie with classic and local dishes. You are also welcome here with kids, they can romp to their heart's content in their outdoor playground.

City trips, day trips and shopping : The villa is the ideal base for visiting Ghent, Aalst, Brussels or Bruges. You are there by car or train quite quickly on site ...
In Aalst about a fifteen minute drive you will find the Sport adventure park The Outsider, they organize teambuildings, kayak on the dender, custom events, there are electric whispering hoops up to 12 people, ropes slope, riverbikes, stand up padding, all this can be booked online through their site.

The house is at the disposal of our guests,
Only the cellars are off limits.
There can be 3 cars in the driveway and 4 to 5 cars in front of the street where there is a spacious parking strip in front of the house.
There are also parking spaces 300 meters away in the Kleiweg.

Other things to note
Animals are not allowed because of allergies (if there are no guests, we also stay in the house ourselves and this also serves as a home office).

There is a strict no smoking policy in and around the house. (thatched roof)
including e-cigarettes.

No rentals to minors.

Illegal activities are not allowed.

No parties or gatherings.

No more than the number of reserved and registered persons on the entire property.

We all like to have fun, of course, but please respect the neighbors... no noise nuisance.

Regarding electric cars, please do not charge them at the villa. The electricity network is not provided for this additional power consumption, nor is it included in the price. There are charging stations in the parking lot in the clay road 300m from the villa. (At the supermarket)

We ask our guests that the house is orderly and somewhat neat at the end of their stay. In any case, we spend a lot of time ourselves to provide you with a pleasant, fresh and clean stay.

Please respect the furniture... it is a carefully curated collection, which all our guests can enjoy.

Please understand that in the event of damage, we are obliged to charge for this.

We reserve the right to request a copy of the identity cards of one or more guests, in accordance with the Airbnb policy.

May we ask you to strictly follow the sorting of waste according to the guidelines. There is a strict policy because of the government.
Also bring glass and empty bottles to the glass collection.

Large supermarket within walking distance ( 300 m) 7d/7d open.



Through nature point, you can also book a guided hike with experienced guide in advance... definitely worth it !!!

There are hiking trails, bike paths, nature reserve... Last but least not... I know the good addresses for food & drinks ... Traveling is in my blood... Europe we travel with our glamping car, both for long trips and for city trips. We go to other continents for more adventure and discovery, and our travels are very active.
