Rustic Guesthouse situated within walking distance to the swimming beach and hiking trail. We are within easy reach to the shark diving and village. The Guesthouse consist of 2 twin bedded rooms with 4 single beds, 1 twin bedded room can be changed to 1 king on requested and if available, all with private ensuite. (Please note we do not have self catering facilities).This wonderful "OLD Rustic Guesthouse" is situated 158Km from Cape Town, in Gansbaai, Western Cape. It is nestled in the quiet village of De Kelders, famous for southern right whales, white shark diving and sunny beaches with pristine natural beauty. Nearby are hiking trails, cliff paths and caves. Fishing, swimming and canoe excursion on the sea. WE OFFER 10% DISCOUNT IF YOU BOOK A SHARK DIVING TRIP WITH US.(Rules and Condition apply please enquire)

We are situated within easy reach to Cape Agulhas, southern tip of Africa. Elim, Stanford and Hermanus (42 km away/30 minutes) are places to visit on day trips.

Guesthouse consist of 3 Comfortable bedrooms with ensuite (toilet/washbasin/shower) 1 Standard double and 2 twin-bedded rooms, bed size 90 cm W x 1.8 m L. Room size are 10 sq meters excluding the shower/toilet/basin that are ensuite. Local TV, wi-fi, fan , minifridge, coffee, tea facilities. LIGHT breakfast serve at 8h00 in the morning. Lounge, small garden with smoking area that can be use accordingly rules and condition.

We are within walking distance to the Village of Gansbaai (25min by walking or by car 4min) ATM and supermarkets. Restaurants and shops.

Please note we are a NON SMOKING basic budget establishment.

Shared Lounge. Owners apartment and private garden is off limits for guests... that is separate from the main building.
THE MAIN KITCHEN OF THE ESTABLISHMENT ARE NOT FOR USE BY GUESTS.
THERE ARE NO COOKING or SELF CATERING FACILITIES DUE TO THAT IT IS BED AND BREAKFAST AND NOT SELF CATERING ESTABLISHMENT!!! There are a shared fridge and microwave with utensils in the bar if required and on request. If you brought take out food.

During your stay
Guesthouse owner do stay on the same premises separate from the main building in private apartment. Interleading to the guesthouse accommodation.

BREAKFAST SERVED AT 08H00. Security Key Box at gate next to bell. You will be issued with the security code to access the box to obtain the keys if we are not going to be present. We supply cool boxes, umbrellas. fold up tables and chairs and utensils you may need on your trip to the beach or day out excursion to make it more comfortable for you if you need it. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE TOWELS AND ANYTHING TO THE BEACH THAT HAVE NOT BEEN SUPPLIED BY US. YOU TAKE ONE GLASS AND BREAK IT YOU HAVE TO BUY A REPLACEMENT SET OF 12...

The B&B is in a street that consist of mainly permanent residence, easy stroll down to the beach for a swim, equipped with outside shower after a swim. Wind protected, grass and sand areas on the beach. It is a easy stroll to the village within 25 min on the seafront roads and pathways. 880meters.
