Villa Mons, located in Norra Fjällvyn - a new area beautifully located in quiet nature north of Sälens largest ski area, with Lindvallens range of slopes and entertainment within 3 km and only a 25-minute drive to Sälens new airport. The space
In the quiet countryside just north of SkiStar Sälens largest ski area, with Lindvallens range of slopes and entertainment within 2.5 km and only a 25-minute drive away from Sälens new airport, lies this new area - Norra Fjällvyn.
Two-story house with 4 bedrooms (total of 11 beds + 3 children's beds), 104 m², living room with kitchen area and fireplace, 1 shower, 2 toilets, sauna, charger for your electric car, built in 2022. Child-safe with gates in stairs and anti-slip protection in stairs. There are also 3 high chairs available as well as 3 travel beds for children.
Just outside are snowmobile trails & tracks for cross-country skiing.
Social and nature-inspired couple's & Attefallshus
The entrance is on the respective short side to create a private feeling and maximize sun hours on terraces that are coated on the front and back. Interiorly, great importance has been attached to creating a social house while private parts have not been forgotten.
Cleaning
For everyone's comfort, each tenant pays SEK 1,000 directly at the time of booking in the cleaning fee. This way, we can guarantee cleanliness for every new guest, compared to houses where you have to clean yourself, which you often don't have time for at check-out. There are, however, regardless of house rules to be followed, sent separately when booking.
Open floor plan
The semi-detached houses therefore have a social entrance floor with an open floor plan between the dining area and living room. Here you also have double ceiling height with large lavish window sections that frame the beautiful nature. You are completely without prying eyes and your only neighbor within sight is the mountains.
Imagine sitting in front of the fireplace after a wonderful day on the slopes or for that matter, the cross-country or ski tracks and looking out over the mountains under a starry sky. The homes simply have everything you are looking for in a mountain home; maximized windows for an incredible view, social areas for the family to socialize and a sauna overlooking the mountains for a private moment in the warmth.
Entrance
The home's entrance opens up to the house's bedroom on the lower floor and the bathroom. The entrance floor's underfloor heating gives the granite ceramics a welcoming warmth and you have space here for pleasant hall furniture.
Kitchen
The family's kitchen and living room interact in an open floor plan without boundary walls. Here you get maximum light from the large windows that give a feeling that the mountain view is part of the living room. Food and kitchen accessories have plenty of room and the bench area can accommodate several cooks helping out, while you can socialize with the rest of the family in the open floor plan. The double ceiling height gives a feeling of space and the window sections follow up to the ridge so you can fully see a starry sky from your sofa. The fireplace is centrally located and can be enjoyed from both the dining area and the living room area.
Bedrooms 1 and 2
The architects have worked with the floor plan to get more bedrooms in a way that it does not take over from the social areas. When we are in the mountains, we want to focus on the important things like family, relaxation and activities. Therefore, these bedrooms are well-planned in their sizes and allow a total of 8 beds. The first
bedroom you meet in the hallway, is the house's second largest bedroom with room for a double bed. The room also has practical storage under the stairs. The entrance floor also has a smaller bedroom with bunk bed.
Bathrooms
The bathroom is located on the entrance level with a spacious shower and sober decor. Floors and walls are covered with durable and beautiful granite ceramics in grey shade. Next to this bathroom, you will find the house's utility room/laundry room. We have added a drying cabinet and a sink to simplify cleaning of equipment and clothes after a long day of activities. On level 2, the architects have added a toilet with sink adjacent to the bedrooms. This is so that the family's vacation time in the cabin will be enjoyable without queues for toilet visits.
Living room
On the upper floor, you will find another living room with a glass railing against the double ceiling height that allows a fantastic view through the windows that extend up to the ridge. Here, the children can play separately while the adults can continue to enjoy a longer dinner with company. There is also a sofa bed.
As a resident of VYN, you will be spoiled with materials and features that are far above the standard for new construction. All apartments have:

Other things to note
The house will be controlled electronically via Yale Doorman, a new code is created for each stay. The system is connected to alarm, fire and video (used only in case of burglary or similar). Cleaning is done by an external cleaning company (however, each guest is expected to do a rough cleaning).
