Welcome to a transforming experience. Villa Arapiuns is a very special place, located 1h30 by boat from Santarem. All our constructions were inspired by Tapajonic architecture and with an extreme care for sustainability: Villa Arapiuns is a bio-construction - green building, with composting and photovoltaic energy. The place is ideal for connecting with nature and for healing retreats of body and soul. Come and you will come back transformed.
The space
The arrival at Villa Arapiuns already shows a little of what is to come. Our lodging is in front of a beach of white sand and crystalline water, on the banks of the Arapiuns River.
All the buildings in the Villa were inspired by the Tapajonic architecture of the region and are 100% guarded by the local community. The Villa has 16 bungalows with bathrooms, with capacity to host up to 35 people sleeping in beds. We also offer a 15-person hammock.
Our guests are welcomed by the local community and WECARE hosts, who will show them all the infrastructure available in the area.
We have 2 kitchens, 2 lounges, a local cuisine restaurant, and a large room for events and meetings.
We have a medicinal garden with more than 100 species of plants with medicinal properties for the preparation of teas.
OBS: It is only available for renting the entire place at once.

Other things to note
Staying at Villa Arapiuns is not only a leisurely trip, but an internal and cultural one.
You will be fully immersed in the customs of the native peoples. Our invitation is for visitors to have the courtesy to observe how the locals live and absorb their customs.
We do not allow visitors to leave tracks in the forest under any circumstances.
Countless interactions are possible at Villa Arapiuns. Everyone will be open to introduce you to a transformative experience in human relationships, spirituality, eating habits, sustainability, permaculture, etc.
At Villa Arapiuns visitors are in a virgin forest. Be gentle and silent. Practice silence, observe everything and be absolutely sure that the animals are peaceful, but do not threaten them under any circumstances. Sharpen your five senses and let the sixth guide you on a path of light.
We recommend that you go to sleep early, because the forest wakes up very early.
You will understand this very quickly. The dogs will bark during the dawn. Don't be alarmed, they really are the best friends of humans and are here to scare off possible nocturnal visitors.
Leaving the windows open is a great and safe way to refresh your sleep. The forest always triggers its natural air-conditioning to bring you the necessary comfort. Always keep the lights off when you are not in the room. Our system is solar powered and does not support waste.
When walking at night, always use the flashlight on your cell phone to see where you are going. Do not leave food in the rooms. If strictly necessary, keep everything carefully packed and preferably hanging on hooks on the walls.
One last important point: always keep in mind that you are in the home of the native Amazonian people. And, as with any visit, visitors must be aligned with the precepts and rules of the house. They have been around for a long time. Long before us. Be kind to yourself and to others.
