Neighborhood highlights

Located in a peaceful mountain neighborhood where homes sit on spacious acre lots and county-maintained dirt roads, the cabin offers a surprisingly private backyard thanks to surrounding trees and a privacy fence. At 9,000 feet elevation, the air is cooler than Denver or Boulder, and the ever-changing mountain weather often brings passing rain, snow, and even rainbows.

The neighborhood landmark is a gas station and convenience store called Taggarts or Hi Market. There is a restaurant/bar 4 miles away, a holistic market 2 miles away, and a brewery & coffee shop 7 miles away. Rollinsville is 6.5 miles away and is a quaint town with a coffee shop, brewery, distillery and pizza restaurant. The fun and funky town of Nederland is 11 miles away, with many restaurants, breweries, and shops. Historic Black Hawk and Central City’s casinos and picturesque Victorian buildings are 9 miles away. There are dozens of fabulous hiking, biking, and snowshoeing trails nearby, Eldora ski resort is 15 miles away, and you might even be able to catch some live music in Nederland.
