This apartment is located in the heart of downtown Valparaiso. Tastefully decorated, this 3rd floor unit is perfect for couples, families, solo travelers, or anyone looking for a fun getaway!
The space
Located on Lincolnway in the central business district of downtown Valpo, the Eldorado apartment building was originally built in the 1920s. This historic building is in a prime location to enjoy all that downtown Valparaiso and the surrounding areas have to offer. This 3rd floor walk-up apartment features a comfortable living space as well as 2 private bedrooms with king/queen beds and 1 full bathroom. In-unit washer and dryer add to the convenience of your stay. There are 3 flights of stairs to get up to the top floor apartment so if stairs aren't your thing this might not be the place for you. We welcome children and provide a pack ‘n play with linens, high chair, & children's dishes/bibs. Each bedroom has a closet to store clothes and other valuables during your stay.
***NOTE: the space is not "baby-proofed" so children must be supervised at all times. Guests are responsible for their children's safety.

KITCHEN:
Small but full kitchen includes gas stove and oven, fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, crock pot, and blender. Dishes, glassware and silverware (including kids plates, bowls, cups and cutlery) are provided along with basic spices, cooking oil, salt/pepper, tea and coffee filters. Pots, pans, baking dishes and mixing bowls are provided.
DINING:
Main dining table seats 6 and 1 high chair is provided. There is an additional dining area in the kitchen with a small table and 2 dining chairs which doubles as a workspace.
BATHROOM:
1 full bath with a walk in glass shower. This unit does not have a tub.
LAUNDRY:
In-unit stacked washer and dryer with laundry detergent provided.
TECHNOLOGY:
High speed fiber internet is provided and the living room has a smart TV with access to 1,000s of preloaded movies and shows on the Emby app, as well as access to live TV through the Nitco app.
HEAT/AC:
The unit has central air and furnace for heat.
Because this apartment is located in the heart of downtown there are numerous dining and shopping experiences just steps away!! Adjacent to the apartment building is Brick Street Burrito, a must try casual burrito joint for "on the go" eating. Less than a five minute walk down Lincolnway you'll find Birdie’s Diner for a delicious breakfast and Nextdoor at Birdie's for cocktails and dinner. On the corner just next to the building is Lincoln Flats, a favorite neighborhood restaurant and bar for your evening night cap. Central Park plaza is one block away and hosts events year round—concerts and a bi-weekly market in the summer and ice skating in the winter just to name a few. So much to do within a few minutes walk! This apartment is also located just a 25 minute drive from glorious Lake Michigan and the Indiana Dunes National Park. Hikers, nature lovers and beachgoers alike will love all that the Dunes has to offer!! Guests will be provided with a binder filled with other local hotspots and experiences as well. Guest access
Parking is available in the parking lot located on the property. To access this apartment, guests will use a shared exterior entrance into the front door of the main building. Once inside the building there are 3 flights of stairs up to the top floor. There will be a lock box outside this apartment unit's door and the codes will be provided the morning of your scheduled arrival. The entire apartment unit is all yours! Guests will also be given the code to the rear building entrance to use if desired.
Other things to note
There are tenants that live below this top level apartment so please be respectful to those individuals below keeping the noise and commotion to a minimum. You may periodically hear minimal noise from other tenants as well as the hustle and bustle of downtown life but this apartment building is generally very quiet and peaceful. We ask that our guests also do their best to keep noise to a minimum as well. We have provided Dohm sound machines in each bedroom for your convenience.
