Welcome to a historical beach house on the shore of Väddö canal! We are renting out the upper half of it - the spacious upper floor with a private entrance. The story of this beautiful house dates back to the 19 century when the school teachers from Stockholm used to spend their holidays here. Beautiful back yard with a sitting area facing and with access to the sea (Väddöviken). 5 km to lovely Grisslehamn with the nearest grocery store, restaurants, marina, luxury spa hotel and ferry to Åland.
The space
You have a completely private accommodation with your own terrace, entrance, backyard, jetty and large veranda facing the canal. Me and my husband live downstairs and we are happy to meet and assist you with anything if you so wish. We have our own entrance though at the other side of the house so if you prefer privacy you don`t see or hear us.
Our place is a pearl and represents the pure essence of Roslagens Skägård. It's a paradise👍 Beautifully designed and cosy rooms and views to die for! Come enjoy refreshing morning dips or stunning sunsets from the boat bridge, chill on the porch, balcony or have a barbecue in the backyard watching the yachts float by. Beautiful nature all around (Roslagsleden) and nearby Trästa bridge with heavenly views to the horizon. In the colder seasons the fireplace on downstairs veranda and beautiful old tiled stoves in the rooms give extra cozyness. All lovely people, kids and dogs are very welcome to spend a vacation to remember at our house!
Guest access
Our house is very easy to access from Grisslehamnsvägen and has plenty of space for parking next to the house. You have your own entrance and a beautiful terrace, inside porch, huge balcony and a backyard by the canal are all at your disposal to enjoy the great outside and views. There is unfortunately no wheelchair entrance to the house.
Other things to note
NB! Please note that bedlinen and final cleaning is NOT INCLUDED in the nightly price. At Swedish holiday lets it is common to bring your own bedlinen and do the final cleaning yourself according to hosts instructions.
Otherwise you can order both from us for an extra fee:
- final cleaning SEK 1500
- bed linen SEK 200/person
We even offer breakfast upon order for 150.-/person.
Please let us know if you would like to order those services when you book.
There is a possibility for an extra bed or two and a baby cot, just let us know ahead!
