Bilbor, Harghita County, Romania

Bilbor is a very picturesque mountain village, located at the foot of Calimani Mountains, at the springs of Bistricioarei, between Bucovina and Ardeal.
Although the place belongs to Harghita, the positioning and the atmosphere send you to Bucovina, through the words and regionalisms, through customs and lifestyle.
The Bilbor Holiday House is situated in a quiet area, surrounded by mountains, being the richest settlement in the county in terms of mineral water springs.
It has earned the reputation of being the most unpolluted place in Romania.
Today we know the Slavonic etymology of the name Bilbor coming from Bielbar (the place of the white tree).
Bilborul is close to Toplița and Borsec at about 20-25 minutes by car.
