We have the ability to sleep 2 guests but PLEASE keep in mind this is a treehouse, not a tree-mansion. It’s a 12 x12 space, we have a queen sized mattress in the sleeping area.

An experience sure to please nature enthusiasts, adventurous travelers and city dwellers alike. Treehouse nestled in a lovely ecological atmosphere, is just the minimalist romantic staycation you’ve been looking for.

Also on the farm property, a beautifully designed log cabin mansion which is where your inn keepers stay and are available for you at anytime.  Links to more information on these accommodations can be found at www. Upendoestates dot com

In our treehouse, you wake up on the queen size memory foam bed in a climate-controlled solar powered unit and peer out of the large 4 frame windows at the swaying trees where you can normally spot the family of deer frolicking. We also have our beautiful and comfortable swings, hammocks & enclosed hammocks to prevent mosquitos from disrupting your peace.

The treehouse is built with reclaimed wood & architectural antiques, staying true to the Treasure Chest theme. This once horse farm has been transformed into a nature observatory, sitting 15ft above ground.

Waking up to the sounds of our chickens Aries, Renegade, Cookie, Honey, Betty & Awesome who love to catch bugs in mid air, greet guest and eat Ramen noodles.

This treehouse was architecturally designed by the owner Karee as well as interior designed. Every wood piece of art and furniture throughout the treehouse was built by hand at the estate i.e bed frame down to the paper towel holder. Her design concept was a Treasure Chest, inspired by her 3 boys.

A Treasure Chest because they are typically made from wood with metal brackets keeping everything together, normally when shown in movies they have a glowing neon light emitting from the inside. The treehouse lights up like a Treasure chest at night. Imagine a large wooden box sitting 15ft above the grounds with a metal roof keeping everything together. The treasure inside being YOU, & whatever memories you choose to create while you stay at the Estate.

Three comfortable adjacent hammocks, 2 bowl macrame swings, shaded by lush greenery for relaxing conversation, reading or rest.
A fire pit area, waterproof indoor/outdoor electric candles and twinkling string lights to set a relaxing ambiance, coupled with the sound frogs, cicadas, crickets, grasshoppers, and katydids to ensure a peaceful nights rest.

Quite the couples retreat. Think camping, but with homestyle benefits.

The tree house roof is metal, so if it rains, you'll have a night of gentle percussive rhythm (we sprayed insulation foam so the treehouse is energy efficient and the roof not too loud). Our spiral staircase leading up to the treehouse is like going up a play structure on the playground. You instantly feel like a kid again.

The treehouse is an Instagramable treasure. So many picturesque photo opportunities. From the oversized handmade butterfly benches to the hanging swings & tall trees. Everywhere you look on the property is a work of art. Co-creators and best friends Karee & Heidi tag team most artwork you see on the property. From rainbow adirondack chairs surrounding a custom built cement double barrel fire pit with grill tops.

Our Treehouse is ran off of solar electricity for a truly off grid " Glamping" experience. We have a composting toilet, a large cooler with ice that keeps ice solid for 5 days, outdoor kitchen (Bob Ross inspired), 3 gallons of potable water, and an antique enamelware wash basin to wash your face or hands. The Kitchen utensils and pots are under the coffee cups in the treehouse. The wooden tray can be used to take items to the outdoor kitchen and or bring your cooked food inside. The outdoor cook top has 2 eyes for cooking. Everything you need to prepare a meal is inside the treehouse. To wash dishes, just put the stopper in the sink and use the bucket to grab water from the outdoor shower to fill the sink. when finished just release the stopper, hang the pots n pans to dry on the Peg board wall.

Directly below the treehouse, connected by a short wooden walkway is our custom built outdoor shower with (running water). Having the privacy and freedom to shower outdoors with fresh aloe pants & a huge rainfall shower screams serenity.

Solar power, outdoor shower, in a private lush woods, outdoor kitchen & on a working farm. Watch chickens wander; frogs jump from their pond, 38 minutes from Atlanta. We book film, weddings, photography.  NO KIDS UNDER 12-safety first!

Other things to note
Parking for two cars is available at the end of our driveway. When you pull up to the Log cabin go right & please pull up and park at the edge of the blue bricks. You will see Airbnb parking signs.

If there are more than two cars, please park behind each other.  There is a dedicated blue square stone forest path that leads to a wooden walkway that than leads to the treehouse spiral stairs. You may pet the animals on the neck (they hate their faces to be touched). They LOVE  fruit and vegetables, and you can give them this daily. Our girls love vegetable peels, bananas, apple cores, carrots, and broccoli. You are safe to feed chickens pretty much any vegetable or fruit except any raw green peels (such as green potato peel) and any citric fruits such as oranges and lemons.

Neighborhood highlights

The neighborhood is considered residential. We have an 8 acre agriculture estate & working farm, our neighbors aren't relatively close. Our property is heavily obstructed by trees.
The loudest Sounds here are the chickens in the mornings, the birds and frogs & insects at night.

Words to describe the neighborhood: Secluded, private, scenic, quiet, safe, wildlife, country, rustic, farm, cabin.

When you drive up our ridiculously long driveway, its almost like you've entered another dimension. Surprisingly as secluded as it feels while being on the property, we are located to quite litterally everything within a 5-8 minute drive. Check our guestbook for recommendations.
