Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Reconnect with your sweetheart at this romantic escape . Drink your morning brew as you watch nature wake up . If you are feeling adventurous you can bike on the local rails to trails or hike the nearby Appalachian Trail. And you are getting away to relax, right ? This is a delightful property for lounging... with twin swings on the deck and a hammock in the yard. End your day unwinding on the dock as you watch the sun set. Plus a hot tub coming SOON !

The space
Take note and PLEASE READ : this is no longer a lakeside property. The lake has been drained for repairs. However the Nest is still a well maintained and delightful property. We are also updating amenities summer of '26. So stay tuned!

This property has everything you need for the perfect getaway ! The kitchen is tastefully furnished, and the luxury shower feels amazing. The queen loft bed is sooo comfortable, and the decor is sweet. Not to mention the view out those windows !! (NOTE: the stairs to the loft require agility, as they are a bit steep.)The living room sofa converts into a double bed. (so this property really sleeps 4 people .) Plus, a pack n play is provided for a little one. Recently , the TV has been updated with Roku streaming .

Out doors, there are 2 decks . The top deck has a patio table that seats 2. It also has a live edge oak bar with 4 bar stools. The lower deck has 2 comfy swings , making it the perfect quiet spot for reading. The side yard is just as fun! From the fire pit (complete with Adirondack chairs ) to a 2-person hammock and a gas grill.

Pa is a lovely state! There are numerous hiking and biking trails nearby. The Pinnacle Lookout is our family's favorite hiking spot . Hawk Mountain is a great place for bird watching . Visit the many wineries and unique local markets in the surrounding area. Explore Crystal Cave . Love a theme park? Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom are 30 min away. Grocery stores and restaurants are just a 15-minute drive from The Nest.

Guest access
Guests have access to the whole property, a dock, and a 25-acre lake.

Other things to note
This property no longer offers a lake, kayaks or fishing. The lake has been drained for repairs so there is a dry lake bed.

However the house and property is still as beautiful as ever. And we are working hard on bringing in several new amenities.

We provide roasting sticks, firewood, and fire starter for the fire pit.

The TV is a Smart TV with Roku. You can stream using Netflix, Prime Video etc. (Remember to bring your log in [passwords] info.). We also provide a DVD player and have a small DVD library.
Please note that while there is good Wi-Fi , cell coverage at The Nest is limited . Drive a few minutes down the road for service.
