Reconnect with your sweetheart at The Nest, a romantic escape made for relaxing. Sip your morning coffee on the deck , bike the local Rails to Trails, or hike the nearby Appalachian Trail. Lounge in the hammock or enjoy a cozy campfire . At sunset, unwind in the five-person hot tub or barrel sauna, both nestled among twinkling patio lights and beautifully updated landscaping. The Nest is the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy a little adventure together .
The space
Even though the lake has been drained, The Nest is still a well maintained and delightful property. Especially so , since a hot tub and barrel suana have been added as the newest amenities ! Come away, relax and enjoy this peaceful spot.
This property has everything you need for the perfect getaway ! The kitchen is tastefully furnished, and the luxury shower feels amazing, the queen loft bed is sooo comfortable, and the decor is sweet. Not to mention the view out those windows !! (NOTE: the stairs to the loft require agility, as they are a bit steep.)The living room sofa converts into a double bed. (so this property really sleeps 4 people .) Plus, a pack n play is provided for a little one. Recently , the TV has been updated with Roku streaming .
Out doors, there are 2 decks . The top deck has a patio table that seats 2. It also has a live edge oak bar with 4 bar stools. The lower deck has 2 comfy swings , making it the perfect quiet spot for reading. The side yard is just as fun! From the fire pit, complete with Adirondack chairs , to a 2-person hammock and a gas grill.
Pa is a lovely state! There are numerous hiking and biking trails nearby. The Pinnacle Lookout is our family's favorite hiking spot . Hawk Mountain is a great place for bird watching . Visit the many wineries and unique local markets in the surrounding area. Explore Crystal Cave . Love a theme park? Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom are 30 min away. Grocery stores and restaurants are just a 15-minute drive from The Nest.

Guests have access to the whole property, a dock, suana, and hot tub.
Other things to note
This property no longer offers a lake, kayaks or fishing. The lake has been drained for repairs so there is a dry lake bed. ( actually its a " sea of green" )
We provide roasting sticks, firewood, and fire starter for the fire pit.
The TV is a Smart TV with Roku. You can stream using Netflix, Prime Video etc. (Remember to bring your log in [passwords] info.). We also provide a DVD player and have a small DVD library.
Please note that while there is good Wi-Fi , cell coverage at The Nest is limited . Drive a few minutes down the road for service.
