Turadh Cottage is a relaxing escape from everyday life. Our two bedroom luxury cottage on the Isle of Skye is designed for families looking for a balance of peace and tranquility, while also providing an excellent base for exploring the Island. Set in the stunning village of Eabost on the Uillinish peninsula, with glorious views of the Cuillin Mountain Range, yet only ten minutes’ drive from the village of Dunvegan and the historic Dunvegan Castle.

The space
Turadh Cottage is a very peaceful and tranquil place, surrounded by beautiful island scenery, wildlife and changing light.

The main bedroom is a warm and spacious room with beautiful wooden furniture and a king size bed with a Hypnos pillow top mattress offering a good nights sleep. Just step out of the room direct onto the patio for breakfast with a view of the wonderful Cuillin Mountains.

The twin bedroom is a cosy space offering two single beds with Simba memory foam mattresses. A light and airy room enjoying views into the back garden and benefiting from the warm afternoon sun.

The living room Is a wonderful space to relax, with a large sofa and accent chairs. The main focus of this room is the Morso wood burner, which fills the room with light and warmth.

The Sun Room is the star of the show, with amazing views across the glen towards the Cuillin Mountains. Just sit on the love seat, pour a glass of red and enjoy the changing light and scenery of Skye all around you. Look out for our resident golden bunnies and keep an eye out for sea eagles, golden eagles and roving deer in the glen below the house.

The kitchen offers everything that you will need for a self catering holiday on Skye. A bespoke designed dining table and benches provide comfortable dining in the kitchen for up to four people.

The bathroom at the cottage is newly refurbished in 2022 with Milano walk-in shower and bathroom utilities.

The porch area is well set out to accommodate walking shoes, jackets and hats to cater for the changing Skye weather. The views from this space are also amazing.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entIre cottage. Guests will also have access to the front and back gardens, offering plenty room for family activities, including eating at the picnic table on the patio. Why not explore down towards our burn in the lower area of the garden following the footpath alongside the fence leading from the main gate.

Other things to note
Turadh Cottage is accessible for people with disabilities - the cottage is totally enclosed with a main gate and tarred driveway. Guests can walk on the same level round to the front door and walk up or take the ramp up to the front door. All internal and external doors are wide enough to accommodate wheel Chairs.
