The cabin sits on 3.5 private acres, giving you plenty of room to relax and enjoy the mountain setting. There are no shared indoor or outdoor spaces.
Parking is easy and convenient. Canada Road (NC-281) is fully paved, and our paved driveway provides ample parking near the main and lower levels of the cabin.
No 4-wheel drive is required under normal conditions, and guests can comfortably access the property in standard vehicles year-round.
Please note that, like many mountain cabins, the paved driveway is steep in sections. Guests have no trouble navigating it and many tell us it’s part of the fun mountain experience!!
Other things to note
• The cabin is spread across three levels and requires the use of stairs to access the upper and lower bedrooms and amenities.
• The loft sleeping area is open and not a private bedroom.
• The cabin is on a septic system, so there is no garbage disposal. We ask guests to dispose of food scraps in the trash to help protect the system
• Cellular service can be limited in some mountain areas depending on your carrier, but our fast Starlink Wi-Fi keeps you connected. Guests can make calls, send texts, stream, and work remotely using Wi-Fi calling and messaging.
• The cabin is located on 3.5 wooded acres in the mountains, offering plenty of privacy and a true mountain setting.
• This is a rural mountain property, not a secluded wilderness cabin. You’ll enjoy plenty of peace and privacy, but may occasionally hear birds, a distant rooster, or other sounds typical of country living.
• This is a peaceful mountain retreat. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM out of respect for our neighbors and the natural surroundings.
• If it snows, guests should plan to park at the bottom of the driveway.
