Nestled besides fourlane NH5 in the beautiful Barog Valley amidst high density apple orchard, this home stay offers a unique combination of breath-taking views of mountains and modern yet homely comfort in a relaxing, private setting. It is a drive in property. Barog Railway Station is at a hike up of 500 mtrs.
The guest rooms are cozy in winters and well lit n airy in summers.

The space
Guests have the entire space at their disposal... You can enjoy the terrace garden and also have access to a beautiful shared open garden courtyard which has lovely plants & flowers and is a regular haunt for a variety of Himalayan birds. Surrounded by apple farms it is a tranquil setting to relax and rejuvenate your energies. Glimpse of Kalka-Shimla toy train in the background is a treat to the eyes.

• Deep cleaning of the rooms before every check-in!
• Regular sanitisation of common touch points like switches, door knobs, remote controls, handles, etc.
• Fresh Linens and Toiletries are placed before every check-in.
• Staff is maintaining proper hygiene at all times.

• Rooms have a Double bed with an attached Washroom.
• Equipped with high speed WiFi, LED TV, comfy Mattresses.
• Both the rooms have cupboards with a looking mirror and hangers inside.
• Plush Furniture such as chairs, bed-side tables, bed linens, etc. are curated considering the minuscule detail and comfort.
• Rooms are not-air conditioned, we have ceiling fans.
WASHROOM
• Both rooms have attached bathroom with top-of-the-line modern fittings.
• Equipped with water geysers, towels, shampoo and basic toiletries.
• These spaces are neatly finished with 24 x 7 hot and cold water supply.
COMMON LIVING ROOM
The Living Room has a leather sofa-set apt for reading a book or just sitting and enjoying some music or a movie on LED TV...
KITCHENETTE
A small kitchenette is provided with an induction, microwave, electric kettle, small fridge and filter for your use. A small dining table which sits 4 is also provided beside the kitchen.
OTHER AMENITIES:
• Al Fresco Dining can be arranged on demand especially during summers.
. All meals will be charged as per the consumption. Advance notice is required to prepare the food.
• Traditional/Pahari/Local food can be served as per demand of the guests.
• Bonfire can be lit on request for additional charges.
• Live music can be catered to on special demand considering the number of guests. Will be charged extra.
• Also amenities like oil heater, bathroom slippers, etc. are available in the rooms.
• The concept of farm to table can be experienced here. We have vegetable and apple farms (tomatoes, capsicums, broccoli) where you can come and pluck on seasonal basis

Neighborhood highlights

We are just half a kilometre away from the Historic Barog Railway Station and the locality is called as village Shamlech. Barog is a hill station in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The railway station lies on UNESCO World Heritage Site Kalka–Shimla Railway. Barog comes after 32 tunnels. The over-hanging pine canopy parts slightly to the sides to reveal the entrance to Tunnel No. 33 (the main attraction of this station). This is the longest straight tunnel in the railways and is 1.14 km long.
Barog station is what an Indian railway station is not. It is unreal, clean, uncrowded, totally jostle-free. The woodwork is brilliant blue with a forest backdrop.
The Mall Road, and other markets can be easily accessed through local buses, autos or taxies. It's hardly a 30 minutes walk to the city if one is interested.
We believe that location plays a pivotal role for anyone to decide on booking a stay, hence, we have apple farms and vegetable fields and our guests are welcome to explore these areas...
There are a number of treks nearby for the guests who want to go for hiking and trekking. Historic Barog Railway Station which is not motorable (just 15 min walk), Famous Jatoli temple (about 20 mins drive), Mount Karol (about 15 min drive n then tracking up or driveup till Karol), Hill station Kasauli (about 40 mins drive) Hill station Chail (about 90 mins drive) are the other famous attractions near by.
