Perfect for the largest families or groups. Three bedrooms comfortably sleep 7 + 3 in upper bunks. (4th bedroom is being renovated).

This is a rustic cottage that started off as the original Katoomba youth hostel.

Please read the reviews. If you are seeking a romantic, luxury getaway then Trinity Cottage is not for you.

There are 2 'parents bedrooms' with double or queen beds and 1 'kids room' with 3 sets of bunks.

100 km from Sydney CBD, an comfortable 2 hour train ride from Central.

The space
There are many listings in the Mountains for properties that are perfect for a romantic getaway.

Trinity Cottage is not on that list.

Trinity Cottage was originally the Katoomba Youth Hostel, and the unique architecture is a giveaway to those times. After that it was used as a Christian Retreat, with youthgroups and bible study groups coming from all over NSW to enjoy its hospitality.

Since acquiring the Cottage Carol has overseen many improvements, including,

- The installation of additional skylights,
- A refurbishment of both bathrooms,
- The installation of a new kitchen (one of the real features of the house),
- Extensive work with the native gardens.

The intent has been to create a place that is comfortable for families and larger groups of friends.

We hope you will enjoy Trinity as a home away from home.

The full house and lands. Car parking for 5 vehicles. Outdoor seating for 12.

Other things to note
This is a mountain cottage. It is not a Hilton. If you are looking for luxury this may not be your best choice.

Katoomba is the heart of the Blue Mountains. It is an Art Deco town with lovely 1920's architecture. It has natural wonders that continue to amaze. It has a gourmet culture of fine dining as well as old style milk bars. It is only 100km from Sydney but feels like a thousand miles.
