Beautiful barndomimium located minutes away from Iowa’s famous High Trestle Trail. Whether you’re coming to Madrid for a bike ride, or a wedding at the new wedding venue “Eagle’s Ledge” this is the space for you! This space comfortably sleeps 12.
Madrid is centrally located between Des Moines (30 miles) and Ames (22 miles), this space is conveniently located right off Highway 210 on paved roads.
Highlights include, a brand new game room and a hot tub, with something for everyone to enjoy!
The space
Space has 3 bedrooms (one bedroom is a game room with a twin bed), full bathroom with separate toilet and huge walk in shower, washer & dryer, kitchen with microwave, oven, stove, coffee maker, and fridge. We provide kitchen utensils and cooking ware.
The outside area has an above ground salt water pool (4ft deep) and hot tub that will be a “shared space” with our family. The pool is not heated. The pool area is open end of May until sometime in September usually, weather dependent. All use of the pool and hot tub is use at your own risk. We can not be responsible for accidents.
There is a fire pit with outdoor furniture and space to enjoy summer nights..you’ll need to buy fire wood if your planing to use.
Our space is connected to our shop and you may see us around the property. We will continue to work during the day but no one works past dark so you can rest assured you will have a quiet and peaceful night sleep.
There are NO PETS allowed, no shoes in the house, NO open flames or candles. WE DO NOT ALLOW SMOKING!
If anything arises during your stay, we will do our best to accommodate ASAP and hope you find our piece of country living as relaxing and breathtaking as we do.
Guest access
Please park to the Northeast side of the overhead doors where there is a parking pad. Follow the brick path to the door under the overhang.
Other things to note
There is an above ground pool and a hot tub outside. Hot tub is available for use, pool is only open as weather permits (unusually May until early September).
IMPORTANT: We live in the country! We have a professional exterminator spray for bugs, but they find their way in occasionally! ALSO, there are chickens, roosters and cows all nearby. You most likely will hear them!
