On the side of Dolores Mountain overlooking town, "The Treehouse", as we call it, is a grown-up version of your favorite childhood hideout. At the top of the private staircase in the courtyard, you will find an unexpectedly modern and comfortable retreat, perfect for relaxing and stargazing.

The space
Taking up the entire second floor of the property, guests have exclusive access to the Treehouse and rooftop deck which offers stunning views, comfy furniture and zero gravity chairs ideal for stargazing or afternoon naps and sunbathing. Inside, the cozy room offers a comfortable queen bed and smart TV with DISH network programming as well as a full bathroom with walk-in closet. Obsessed with ensuring that the room is as comfortable as it is beautiful, we've also carefully selected a warm modern southwestern decor, soft towels, and high quality linens and pillows.
For cyclists, we are just .6 miles from the paved highway. The courtyard gates through which you enter can be locked at night for a secure and convenient place to park bikes when not in use.
Travelers for business or pleasure can also take advantage of on onsite printer upon request.
Guest access
The only space on the second floor of the home, the Treehouse has a completely private exterior entrance as well as exclusive use of rooftop deck. There is no access to the Treehouse from the rest of the home so you have total privacy unless we run into each other in the courtyard :)
Other things to note
Just a reminder we do have dogs living downstairs. They are generally quiet and inside but you may run into them on the property. They love people and while they may bark a greeting they are perfectly friendly. If by any chance a deer or javelina wanders through the yard while we are not at home they may bark. If they are ever bothersome, please send me a message right away and we will take care of quieting them down. Either we, our housekeeper, or one of our employees is always just minutes away.

26 years ago my husband, then boyfriend, dragged me west for 10 hours and introduced me to Fort Davis - it was love at first sight. Now we own 2 hotels and 2 gift shops in town and we get to live here in this wonderful place we get to share with guests. There is a quote by Elsie De Wolfe that I love it's me in a few words: "I am going to make everything around me beautiful and that will be my life." I hope you will see that in our spaces. <3
