The space
Welcome to our cozy log cabin in beautiful Trysil. TopskillsHytta of 63 m2 has all the comforts you could wish for while the original charm is preserved. There are 8 + 2 beds spread over 3 bedrooms and a sofa bed in front of the fireplace in the living room.
The cozy large cabin has a dining area for 8-10 people and a comfortable sofa corner with a new TV that supports screen sharing from both Apple and Android mobile phones. Internet via fiber provides access to fast wi-fi of 100 Mbit/s.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower and plenty of storage.
The rustic kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing holiday in the mountains - including dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fondue pot and waffle iron.
The hall is well-planned with a heated boot cabinet and plenty of hooks, hangers, drawers and shoe racks for all the outerwear and shoes needed on the ski holiday. In addition, two benches to sit on and practical wall rails where all helmets can be hung.
Outside the house there is a spacious ski shed which also offers snow racers, sledges and snow toys to borrow during the stay. There is a great toboggan run directly behind the house!
At the front there is also the pleasant patio in a south/southwest position with lovely sun all afternoon and evening.
The driveway has plenty of room for two or three cars behind each other.
The ski track that easily takes you down to the ski system runs in the plot boundary, only 400 m away. You put on your skis directly at the cabin, slide across the lot into the transport track and easily go down the hill to the anchor lift F1, where you can also buy your ski pass. On the way home, take lift F6 at the Radisson Blu Mountain Resort and slide down to the cabin on the alpine transport route. On a couple of occasions you need to help and stake a bit or kick if you're snowboarding.
If you prefer cross-country skiing or lovely winter walks, you also have these tracks directly on the property boundary.
In 20 minutes you can walk to the Radisson Mountain Resort and the center there, which offers, among other things, spa, après-ski, restaurants, bar, ski rental, ski shop and a bakery.

ALPINE SKIING
Trysil is Norway's largest ski resort with 69 ski slopes and 32 lifts, three children's areas, and several Snow Parks. A total of 81 km of piste runs.
The highest skiing is at 1100 meters. The longest slope is 5.4 kilometers, the highest drop is 685 meters.
Trysil has lots of varied slopes in three directions:
On the south side is the Turistsenteret, which offers long, wide ski slopes of varying degrees of difficulty. There is also the Valles Skiland children's area here as well as a blue and a black Snow Park.
On the same side is the Skihytta area, which offers long, sunny pistes. There is an express lift, a children's area, restaurants and a thermal cabin.
On the opposite side of the mountain are Høyfjellssenteret and Fageråsen. Here there are restaurants, a thermal cabin, many green slopes, a number of red slopes and a large children's area with Valle's ski land.
In between the other areas is Høgegga, which is the steepest area in Trysil, with challenging skiing on long black slopes. It is a favorite area for many alpine skiing stars. There is also a restaurant and heating cabin here.
CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
The cross-country skiing in Trysil consists of just over 100 kilometers of perfect, well-prepared cross-country trails, in varied forest and high mountain terrain. The cross-country trails in themselves are worth a ski trip to Trysilfjället.
On the mountain, there are tracks and tours both for training, enjoyment and real long tours on skis. There are also lighted tracks that make it possible to take a walk after the sun has gone down. Maintenance of the tracks is done by several different actors and interest associations, and therefore the routines for when the tracks are opened can vary slightly.
Ski hut on the south side and Fageråsen on the north side are both good starting points for nice tours and the wide tracks are also good for skating. For you as a cross-country skier, TopskillsHytta is ideally located, with access to some of the Trysilfjellet's finest tracks directly on the property line!

If you want to ride in the evening on illuminated tracks, there is Trysilfjellet Arena near Trysil Turistsenter. On the other side of the center there are more tracks, these are prepared by Trysil Skiløypelag.
CYCLING
Trysil has one of Northern Europe's best networks of cycle paths around the mountain and throughout the municipality. There is cycling here for both young and old, beginners and experts!
