We’re dog people who found Suches by accident and fell in love.
Each October, North Georgia drew us in for the Georgia Apple Festival in Ellijay and Dahlonega Gold Rush Days. Looking for a place between them, we discovered Suches—a quiet mountain spot along the Toccoa River, backed by Chattahoochee National Forest. 1 stay was all it took.
Now it’s Toccoa Currents: Headwaters. Weekends here mean dogs, fishing, and porch coffee—and a thoughtfully clean, dog-welcoming stay guests return to again.
