Welcome to our cozy, renovated A-frame cabin in the backdrop of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park! The Sugar Shack is the perfect Airbnb getaway for families & friends looking to experience the natural beauty of the Smoky Mountains. The A-frame design creates an aesthetic & charming atmosphere to build memories and snap beautiful photos.
Located in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, our cabin is just 5 minutes from the main highway leading to the area's best attractions (Dollywood, downtown Gatlinburg, Annakeesta, Skybridge, dinner shows, and more)- including hiking trails, waterfalls, and scenic drives while still secluded for a private getaway. Guests love that our cabin is so close to the action so they can quickly get to the fun and also back home for a break if needed. Uber can also pickup/drop off at our cabin if needed!

As soon as you step inside, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting interior, complete with comfortable furnishings and all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay with Airbnb. The open-concept living room and kitchen area boasts classic A-Frame wood ceilings, beautiful windows, and a huge cozy fireplace, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day exploring the area. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with all the essentials for preparing meals during your stay. If you love pancakes, we’ve got you covered.
The Sugar Shack features spacious bedrooms, providing you and your group with plenty of privacy and comfort. The bedrooms are fitted with comfortable beds, fluffy pillows, and fresh linens, ensuring a restful night's sleep. WIFI and a private workspace in the second floor bedroom (with lock on door) is available if working remotely for your convenience.
For those who love to entertain, the cabin features a fantastic game room with a large TV, foosball table, darts, and other fun games, making it the perfect place to spend time with friends and family. Step outside and enjoy the mountain air from the spacious deck (first and second floor), complete with a hot tub and seating for dining al fresco. The large hot tub and fire pit are ideal for soaking up the stunning forest and roasting marshmallows under the stars.

Parents have loved the peace and quiet.
Check in with ease anytime after 4pm EST with our digital smart lock keypad! We will let you know if the cabin is ready earlier for your group.

Please note - Firewood is not provided and you will need to bring your own TV application passwords (Netflix, etc.)
Because of a small section of incline to the cabin (modest for the area), 4 Wheel Drive is recommended in snow/ice conditions/inclement weather in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. Please note refunds cannot be made for weather related events, loss of electrical power, water, or air conditioning/heating; or cable outages. We cannot refund due to any of these (TV, Wi-Fi, gas log fireplace, hot tub, gaming system, small appliances, etc.) not working or malfunctioning. We will make every effort to have all reported malfunctions corrected as promptly as possible.
We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance from Airbnb to cover unexpected travel related issues.
Please pick up after dogs! Note that we do not have a fenced in yard and recommend leashes at all times due to wildlife in the area.

Neighborhood highlights
Guests will have their own slice of Sugar Mountain both minutes from the parkway and attractions of Pigeon Forge but also secluded mountain side in the wooded hills. The Sugar Shack is located in between Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Sugar Mountain is home to other rentals, but our cabin is nicely secluded on a 1 acre wooded lot.
