Enjoy complete privacy, a queen bed, futon, and wood stove for a warm, unplugged stay. Rejuvenate in your private wood-fired sauna and soak in the hot or cold creekside tub. Just 20 minutes from Golden, and 40 minutes to both Glacier and Yoho National Parks—your perfect base for rest or adventure!

Welcome to Goonieland Permaculture Farm, nestled on 200 acres of scenic forested mountainside, offering breathtaking views in every direction. Enjoy exploring right outside your door.

Our off-grid cabin is equipped with solar power for charging devices, battery lighting, a gas cook stove, and a cozy wood-burning stove, making it perfect for adventure seekers or those seeking a quiet retreat to write, read, or relax. Additionally, guests can unwind in our sauna and cool off in the nearby creek.

Please note that as we are an active farm with livestock guardian dogs, we cannot accommodate pets. Heads up you need a 4x4 or AWD to access our site in the winter.
