Tiny Church, a timber church built in 1925 and respectfully deconsecrated in 1991, is now a light-filled guesthouse perched above the Ring Road in the tranquil village of Stöðvarfjörður. Original high-arched wooden ceilings and a gallery space offer a one-of-kind stay. Step outside to panoramic fjord and mountain views, just a short walk to Petra’s famous Stone Collection. Perfect for families or small groups.

THE 10 TINY CHURCH COMMANDMENTS
1. Thou shall take off thy shoes.
Please remove your shoes at the entrance and leave them on the shoe rack.
2. Thou shall treat this house with care.
This is a historic property — please be kind and careful with the space.
3. Thou shall keep it tidy.
Wash any dishes you use and don’t leave trash behind when you check out.
4. Thou shall sort thy waste.
Use the bins for trash, recycling, and compost.
5. Thou shall use appliances properly.
Only use furniture, heaters, and kitchen tools as they are meant to be used.
6. Thou shall not smoke nor vape within.
Smoking is not allowed inside. You may smoke outside.
7. Thou shall dry wet things wisely.
Do not hang wet clothes inside, as this is an old wooden house. Use the drying rack outdoors. Only towels may dry on the rack in the bathroom.
8. Thou shall enjoy the gift of Wi-Fi.

9. Thou shall have clean clothes — for a fee.
Laundry service may be offered depending on our capacity. Drop off clothes in the evening—they’ll be washed and dried by morning.
