Guest access
Guests are welcome to stroll around the farm and visit with the horses while they are in the barn.

Other things to note
The Tiny Escape is private but not secluded. Other guests of the farm, boarders, and riding students may use the walking/riding path that joins the driveway to the tiny home.

The second hill to the tiny home is short but somewhat steep for some flat-landers. For 2WD vehicles, we suggest using low gear and keeping a quick, steady pace - if you go too slow or stop, your wheels will spin. Guests with low clearance vehicles may opt to park at the bottom of the hill and take the short walk up.

We are so pleased to share our special place with you! Jeremy and I have been at this farm since 2009. It’s proven to be a perpetual work in progress and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We still have work to do on the house – lucky for you, The Loft is done! Jeremy and I are originally from Northeast Ohio. Jeremy is a builder and our resident Mr. Fix-it. He’s done all of the construction work here in his spare time, with his crew consisting of mainly the kids and me. It hasn’t been a quick project, but a very special one! I often tell Jeremy, “Just because you can do everything, doesn’t mean you can do everything”. Thanks to him, we have special touches everywhere. For example, the shelving in The Loft was made from one of our trees struck by lightening and the brackets were welded using our horses' old horseshoes. Jeremy is also a veteran who previously managed and taught at his own martial arts studio. As for me, the farm is a dream come true! I grew up a horse crazy city kid who worked racetracks and stables just to be near them. I always dreamed of living on a horse farm of my own. It has been an amazing experience and way of life for the past decade. After working as an x-ray technician and elementary school teacher, I am so grateful to spend my days at our peaceful place! Still, our teenagers’ schedules keep us on the go…for now. Jeremy and I also enjoy working with at-risk youth in the area. Our long-term goals include an equine-assisted psychotherapy and learning program as well as a youth building program. We hope our farm can be a place of peace, healing and hope for many!
