Enjoy converted Woolshed accommodation with huge uninterrupted views and walking track over farmland and native bush, down to a private coastal beach on the Kaipara Harbour. A great spot to observe a real working 1150 acre Sheep and Beef farm. Bring your hiking shoes and a fishing rod and enjoy the self guided marked 6km return walking track. Tinopai boat ramp 6 km away. NB 4wd vehicles can be driven to a halfway point on Whitestone track only, then the rest of the track is to be done on foot.

The space
The Tinopai Woolshed is a rustic converted Woolshed (not 5 star but nice and comfortable). It is fully self contained with full kitchen. The kitchen , dining and living room is all open plan.
The first bedroom has a queen bed. the second bedroom has a bunk ( which is a double bed on bottom and single bed on top) and another single bed.
Self Serve breakfast (tea/coffee, cereals, spreads and milk is supplied )
The private beach (6km return walk) is perfect for fishing either at high tide from beach or off the rocks at low tide. Snapper are regularly caught off our beach! 4WD vehicles are allowed to be driven halfway down the track but the last 1.5km is only accessible by foot.
Please note there is no wifi.

A heat pump is in the living area for heating (although no wall insulation in living area, just bedrooms) and plenty of woollen blankets are available for extra warmth.

Other things to note
Farm water is used to run the toilets only, hence the bowl of the toilet has an orangey/rusty colour to it due to iron in the water. Rest assured the toilets have been cleaned thoroughly.
