Welcome to the Timber Lodge, located on the Willow Creek Ranch, just outside of McCloud, at the base of Mt Shasta. This serene setting is ideal for family and friends to gather and build lasting memories. The nearly 7,000 square foot home is located in a forested setting on the banks of a creek and offers a peaceful place for an enjoyable mountain vacation. Nearby recreation includes skiing, hiking, fishing, hunting, mountaineering and more!

The space
OUTDOOR:
This home is located on the banks of a flowing creek and small pond, and offers an expansive, unfenced lawn. Enjoy coffee on the patio or evenings grilling out with family and friends.
There is outdoor parking in the large driveway and two garage parking spots, one complete with a Tesla charging station.
More than 3,000 acres of forested land surround the rental and ranch facilities, ensuring tranquility and privacy. The ranch shares a two-mile boundary with Shasta National Forest. Wildlife is abundant, with regular sightings of deer, turkey, quail, geese, and bear.


INTERIOR:

There is NO Air Conditioning at this home. It stays comfortable if guests open up windows overnight and close windows and blinds during the day.

MAIN LEVEL:
GREAT ROOM: The expansive 7,000 square foot Timber Lodge is sure to be a magnificent gather spot for friends and family. The large, open floor great room offers a luxurious chefs kitchen with high end appliances and all of the cooking/baking/serving supplies one could need. Just off the kitchen is a large pantry for food storage and additional kitchen supplies.
There is also a half-bath located just inside the front door of the home for easy access.
Our guests will enjoy family meals at our large dining table and gather in our comfortable living room space overlooking the creek and lawn. Patios located off this room are perfect for grilling, wildlife viewing and enjoying the peace and quiet of this natural setting.

DEN: For those needing a quiet place for working or relaxing, this home offers a cozy den/office located just off the great room, with a built-in desk, couch and TV.

MASTER BEDROOMS: Downstairs offers two spacious master suites, each with a King bed, outdoor access and full bathrooms.

UPSTAIRS LEVEL:
MAIN BEDROOM: The main bedroom offers a Queen bed, with attached full bathroom.
ATTACHED BEDROOM: There is a small bedroom located off of the main Queen bedroom with 2 Twin Beds. This is accessed off the Queen bedroom.
TWIN BEDROOM: On far side of the upstairs level is a spacious yet cozy room offering two Twin beds and a sitting area.
LOFT: There is a small loft that overlooks the Great Room, offering comfy chairs which is a perfect place for curling up with a good book.

Guest access
The entire home is for our guests' use and pleasure. This includes the garage for parking (one car and has a Tesla Charger) as well as the creek and small pond directly in front of the creek.
Please do not go past the driveway on the main road as that leads to a private residence.

Other things to note
Please note that guests may not have any fires, indoors or outdoors, due to our fire insurance restrictions and area fire danger.

Absolutely NO smoking of any kind ANYWHERE on the property. No shooting, fireworks or fires are allowed at any time.

While our home is Dog-Friendly (with an additional $100/reservation fee), we do advise dogs be kept on leash or direct supervision due to abundant wildlife and no fenced yard.

Due to the wildlife potential (especially black bears) we advise no food or drinks ever be left outdoors or in your cars. All trash must be placed in our secure bear-proof garbage cans.

There is no cell-service in this remote location but the home is wired with direct fiber-optic internet that also provides cell phone service within the house.

The upstairs bedrooms share one full bathroom. It has a secure door and is private but located just off the upstairs queen bedroom.
