Newly renovated and meticulously considered, this private cabin is steps from the beautiful white sands of Tallows Beach. Fall asleep to the ocean and wake to birdsong. Perfect for romantic getaways & quiet weekends, yet only a 12-minute drive to the heart of Byron. Walk, bike, surf, swim or fish — there’s plenty to explore right outside your door.
The space
The cabin is incredibly private and quiet with vaulted ceilings throughout, making it feel cozy and capacious at the same time.
Upon entry there is a brand new custom kitchen + island in a natural white with walnut timber and rattan accents. Top of the line appliances from AEG. The kitchen opens up to the living room styled with a plush linen couch draped in sheepskin for an extra cozy feel when you want to relax, read, or enjoy the 55" Samsung Frame TV to binge your favourite shows. Sliding doors in living room access the huge rear deck that overlooks the nature reserve (guests report morning visits from Kookaburras and Wallabies!)
The bedroom has a king sized bed with feather king pillows and a super king feather comforter to ensure you are extra cozy. Built-in custom wardrobes ensure all of your belongings are stored during your stay and the space is clutter-free. Your choice of the ducted air-con/heating + ceiling fan or open the window to catch the breeze and have the ocean lull you to sleep. Black-out blinds ensure a restful space for a sleep-in or a delicious mid-afternoon nap.
The bathroom is the epitome of luxury; terrazzo in a natural colour palette accented with sandstone tiles. Choose between the huge bathtub to soak away your day with sounds of the ocean through the open window or luxuriate under the rain shower head in the spacious walk-in shower. The floating vanity with double basins ensure you have your own space to get ready for the day (or bed!).
The exterior of the property is spacious and incredibly private. The front deck (easterly facing) is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sea mist lift as the morning sun streams in. There is a copper outdoor shower (with hot water) to rinse off after your morning surf or swim, and the rear deck is the perfect place to catch the afternoon (west facing) sunshine and get visits from Kookaburras and Wallabies who pass through the nature reserve to the rear of the cabin. Neighborhood highlights
Beachside Suffolk Park is perfectly placed between Byron (4 km north) and Broken Head (3km south) to take advantage of all the area has to offer. Enjoy beautiful surf on the white sandy beach- there is also great fishing. Most importantly, it is a friendly community who live and play in the streets and on the beaches- it is a happy, easy-going place. Tide on Tallows is in a gated community at the end of Alcorn Street- it is very private and quiet.

Suffolk is a perfect spot to explore Byron, Broken Head, Wategos, Ewingsdale, Newrybar, Bangalow, Mullumbimby, Federal...the list goes on! Truly there are so many magical pockets in the area, we can't wait to share our slice of heaven with you.
