Escape to our romantic, French country-inspired one-bedroom cottage just outside Helensville, perfectly positioned near West Auckland’s vineyards, wedding venues, Muriwai Beach, Kaipara Harbour, and other hidden gems.

This private cottage is a peaceful and private retreat perfectly suited for singles or couples looking to relax or explore.

The space
Thoughtfully designed with your comfort in mind, the cottage features a full kitchen and a cozy living area, off-street parking right at the gate, heating and air conditioning to keep you comfy year-round. After a day of adventure (or simply doing very important nothing), sink into the king-size bed and drift off in bliss. And don’t forget to freshen up your meals with herbs from the garden - because nothing says “home away from home” like a pinch of homegrown flavour.

Wake up to a light breakfast spread including muesli, cereal, homemade bread, fresh eggs, milk, tea, and coffee - fuel for whatever your day brings.

You’re also warmly invited to join us for a complimentary drink in The Woolshed, our converted bar and social space. It’s a relaxed spot to unwind, swap stories, or test your dart skills, though no pressure if you prefer a quiet night in.

Guests have full and private use of the self-contained cottage. Parking is available right outside, next to the Kia Ora sign for easy access.

You're welcome to wander through the vegetable garden and orchard, and we’re more than happy for you to explore the grounds, just keep in mind this is also our family home, so we kindly ask that you do so with respect and consideration.
