Stay at this cozy 3-bedroom (King, Queen + Twin), 1-bath beach cottage in the heart of Walnut Beach. Perfect for family vacations, wedding guests, or Yale visitors, the cottage features a full kitchen, private backyard, fire pit, and peaceful coastal vibes. Walk to the sand, celebrate at Tyde, enjoy coffee on the porch, and relax by the fire pit. Firewood is not provided. Comfort, style, and location — all in one unforgettable stay!
The space
Welcome to Walnut Beach Cottage, a charming and fully equipped 3-bedroom (King, Queen, Twin), 1-bath home designed to offer a perfect blend of comfort and style. Inside, you'll find a modern farmhouse aesthetic with all the conveniences for a relaxing stay. The living room features cozy seating, a flat-screen TV with free Netflix, Hulu and Disney+, and Amazon Alexa for ambiance. The fully functional kitchen comes with stainless appliances, including a full-size stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave, along with cookware, utensils, and glassware for your cooking needs.
Each bedroom is designed with your comfort in mind. The master bedroom features an award-winning King and Queen-size Nectar mattress with cooling technology, premium hotel luxury sheets, and blackout shades for a restful sleep. The second bedroom also boasts a cooling gel memory foam mattress, making it ideal for back pain relief. The third bedroom on the second floor has two twin beds with an additional third ( trundle) available, perfect for accommodating up to three guests. All bedrooms offer fresh towels, memory foam pillows, and blackout shades/curtains for ultimate relaxation.
The cottage’s bathroom is equipped with modern fixtures and includes a stand-in shower, hair dryer, first aid kit, and complimentary toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
For your convenience, the house includes a sunroom perfect for morning coffee, meditation, or relaxation. The recreational area offers a variety of board games, books, and darts for indoor entertainment. There’s also a designated workspace with high-speed FiOS internet, making it easy to work remotely during your stay.
Outside, enjoy seasonal amenities such as a firepit, BBQ grill, and a patio dining area—perfect for summer evenings. A hammock is also available for a relaxing outdoor experience. Please note that these outdoor features are seasonal and only available during the warmer months. Wood for the fire pit is not included. Confirm availability prior to booking.
Families with children will feel right at home with our complimentary kids' accommodations, including a highchair, portable crib with bedding, baby gate, and toys for both younger and older kids. All of these are available UPON REQUEST. Please, let us know as soon as you know you will need them.
We also provide beach equipment, such as a beach cart, folding chairs, towels, umbrella, and a UV-protection beach tent, all free of charge to enhance your beach outings.

The detached garage is not accessible to guests at this time. We provide on-site parking for up to three vehicles in the driveway, along with one additional street parking space directly in front of the house
