Neighborhood highlights

The town's name comes from its location at the mouth of the Eye Water river. The Berwickshire coastline consists of high cliffs over deep clear water with sandy coves and picturesque harbours. A fishing port, Eyemouth holds a yearly Herring Queen Festival. Notable buildings in the town include Gunsgreen House and a cemetery watch-house built to stand guard against the Resurrectionists (body snatchers). Many of the features of a traditional fishing village are preserved in the narrow streets and 'vennels'.

Where I went to school: Larbert High
My work: Emirates to Officer
I spent the majority of my career traveling the world with Emirates Airline, leading a team of 26 Cabin Crew onboard the A380. Living in Dubai for 20 years, I returned to Scotland in 2019. Covid put a halt to my planned direction in life, so I found myself longing to utilise my First Class hospitality skills. Along came The Vista. I still try to travel as much as possible and enjoy spending time with my 2 dogs, Freddie & Ralph.
