The space
This suite is situated within a charming building that also hosts a photography studio and a small events venue and one other Airbnb unit. We are conveniently located in the heart of downtown Fairbury, just 11 miles from Route 66 and halfway between Chicago and Springfield, this quaint small-town setting offers easy access to local restaurants and specialty shops.
The suite features a kitchenette equipped with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker, toaster oven, toaster. The living room boasts a 55-inch Samsung TV with complimentary Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+ and more, additional amenities include a queen size bed, full size murhphy bed, private bathroom with shower and double vanity. This unit has it's own seperate entrance.
Located just down the block you'll find Dream Cabin Coffee, 250 ft away you'll find El Jaracho Bar & Grill, and 500 ft. away you will find Dave's Supermarket for grocery shopping needs, baked goods, or food from the deli. Please note most shops, including the grocery store are closed on Sundays. El Jaracho , China Kitchen, Monicals, Pizzas by Marchelloni's and Dairy Queen are all open on Sundays. Also we have a Dollar General and Family Dollar that are open on Sundays when Dave's Supermarket is closed.
There is plenty of parking just outside your Airbnb, There are 2 dedicated parking spots for our guests and there are two large parking lots available as well. You may also park in the front of the building if you prefer, parking is allowed on the street in the dedicated parking spots.
Guest access
Door #3
which has its own access door directly to the Airbnb unit and can be accessed through the stairs in the back, it is the downstairs unit. It can also be accessed through the long hallway door. Enter the door and turn to your left, go downstairs and turn left in between the leather sofa and chair your unit is door #3.
Or you may park in the front and use the front entrance. Walk all the way down the hall, go down the stairs and turn left just past the brown leather chair.
Parking is available in the back of the property, directly in front of the property or across the street. Conveniently located within walking distance of a grocery store, several restaurants, and local shops.
Please note that ride-sharing services such as Uber or Lyft are not available in the area.

Other things to note
We are located in the heart of downtown Fairbury, a fairly quiet and safe area with a charming small-town atmosphere. However, as we are near the train tracks, you may occasionally hear a train pass through. If you are a light sleeper, please keep this in mind when booking your stay.

Airbnb has a kitchenette which is a partial kitchen so there is no oven or stove.
