Surrounded by oak trees and a short walk from Georgian Bay, our cottage has the right mix of charm and modernity. Lafontaine Beach is accessible in under 2 hours from the GTA so you won't spend all day in the car. Perfect for your family getaway.

The Acorn is comfortable, cozy and guests love our fully stocked kitchen.

The space
Our cottage is a spacious 1100 sq. feet space that has been updated with a mix of charm and modernity. In the winter, the wood burning stove makes it oh so cozy. The bedrooms are large and the bunk beds are perfect for children’s slumber parties. The kitchen is fully equipped and coffee and tea will be provided. Our beautiful harvest table is great for family meals and the dishwasher helps with the clean up.

Listen to the waves on our large deck, or head to the beach for some fun in the sun. Enjoy roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and playing board games. Wifi, Netflix and Disney Plus takes care of all your tech needs.

All bed linens and bath towels are included as well as bar soap and paper products so you will have less to pack.

Other things to note
**For SUMMER rentals please be aware that it will be your responsibility to take out and bring in the garbage bins (waste collection is Monday mornings). Failure to wheel waste bins out to the street for collection will result in a deduction of $200 from your security deposit.

Please bring your own firewood and beach towels.

PLEASE NOTE: We reserve the right to decline your inquiry based on the type and size of pet(s) you may have. If accepted, any pet damages will result in a deduction to your security deposit. One of our house rules is that if bringing a pet, you must vacuum before check out. Failure to do so, will result in $100 deduction to your security deposit for additional pet cleaning.
