Whether you're picnicking at the beach, winery hopping, or browsing for antiques; The Sunflower is conveniently located on Main Street in Wellington, making it an ideal jump-off for your stay in The County.
The space
You're bound to make unforgettable memories with family and friends at The Sunflower. Our open concept layout is all about relaxation, comfort, and convenience with a fully stocked kitchen for group meal prep and spacious dining and lounge area for everyone to enjoy together. And when it's time to wind down, cozy up and watch your favourite shows on our 60-inch Smart TV with access to Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, YouTube, and Samsung TV. There's also an Austin Air Filter in the unit to ensure premium air quality.
After a busy day exploring, unwind in our luxurious walk-in shower with Moen inspired Spa System. Then, fall asleep on our comfy coil mattresses with high-quality linens that will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to take on the next adventure. Our bedrooms are fully equipped with a range of convenient amenities, including room-darkening window coverings, closets with ample space for luggage, clothes hangers, night tables with lamps, door hooks and clothing hampers.
Whether you want to enjoy breakfast with a view, or relax with a drink in the afternoon, our private balcony boasting water views is the spot. There's also an outdoor seating area in the backyard with a propane barbecue for al fresco dining, and we've even provided a clothesline for your convenience so you can keep your vacation wardrobe fresh and ready for fun.
We’re located one kilometer away from the main drag where you’ll find local staples including Piersons Foodland Grocery Store, the Millennium Trail, the PEC Arts Trail, Drake Devonshire, Lakeside Motel, Midtown Brewery, La Condesa, and Creekside Cafe.
In search of a beach? You’re in luck. We’re walking distance to Wellington’s Rotary Beach and a short drive to the Wander Resort where you can purchase a pass for private beach access on West Lake. We're also a fifteen-minute drive to Sandbanks Provincial Park in Picton which you can access free of charge with our complimentary season's pass.
If you're planning to visit the Sandbanks Provincial Park with a vehicle, you'll need to register the vehicle on the Sandbanks Provincial Park website. The earliest you can register a vehicle is five days in advance of the dates you plan on attending the park. Please note, strict vehicle capacity restrictions are enforced. Even with a season's pass, this does not guarantee access if you have not registered your vehicle correctly and received confirmation.
