We are intentionally located in nature. While we work extremely hard to ensure nature stays outside, please be prepared for the possibility of nature sneaking inside on occasion. If this should happen during your stay, simply contact us immediately and we will come up with a remedy if it hasn't already been in place. We don’t refund for bugs and critters.
Occasionally the water can have a temporary sulfur smell, especially with the hot water, which is fairly common in some Northern Michigan well water systems. It’s always been like that from time to time, especially if the hot water hasn’t been run heavily for a bit.
Usually if you let the hot water run for several minutes and continue using it throughout your stay, the smell goes away or improves significantly.
Hot Tub Notice:
The home features a private hot tub on the deck, which is professionally maintained and available for guest use. While we do our very best to ensure it is fully operational for every stay, hot tubs are mechanical systems and unexpected issues (such as leaks, heating errors, or weather-related problems) may occasionally occur.
In the rare event the private hot tub becomes unavailable before or during your stay, we will make every reasonable effort to repair it as quickly as possible; however, availability of the hot tub is not guaranteed and does not constitute grounds for refunds or discounts.
