The space

Riverbend is perfect for couples and nature lovers wishing to escape the busy hotels and resorts for their own slice of forest and privacy.

Our 26 foot in diameter half-sphere thoughtfully designed geodome offers its guests a comforting modern design, including a king-size bed, sky window with star light views and large bay window for majestic forest vista.

This space offers its own natural wood burning fireplace for those cool nights, electricity and running water on your site for your convenience.

PRIME LOCATION

Situated on 15 private acres bordering crown land. A retreat beyond a shared gated driveway, surrounded by wildlife, and located almost exactly between the world class destinations of Jasper National Park and the City of Edmonton. The landscape consists of primarily boreal forest, lakes, and rivers.

Wildlife native to the area include bear, cougar, moose, elk, deer, wolf, coyote, fox, rabbit and a wide variety of avian and aquatic life.

Recreational experiences galore close by includes fishing, horseback trail rides, golf, skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking, river floating, canoeing, paddle boarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and OHV fun!

COZY WOOD FIREPLACE/OUTDOOR FIRE PIT

Get a feeling of warmth from the indoor fireplace. Take a peaceful moment with your companion or by yourself, fireside, to unwind for a more restorative night's sleep.

SWIM BEACH/SWIMMING POOL

Drive right up onto the River rock/sand beach at the McLeod River. 20 mins away. Community pool just a 5 min drive away.

Cleanliness is top priority. The grounds are pristine. The Geodesic dome is spotless.

HASSLE-FREE PARKING

You will have access to your own personal and private parking space steps away from your accommodations which is guided by solar lighted path.

AMAZING COFFEE

What better way to elevate your day with a morning that starts with a cup of coffee surrounded by fresh pine. You are starting to rise with the sun, stirring for a classic breakfast, a cup of coffee in hand to compliment the crisp morning.
There is something about sitting by a fire pit and crafting up some of that good camping fuel.

INDOOR AND OUTDOOR DINING

Spaces are available both inside and outside in order to prep and share meals and memorable experiences. Two coolers are provided. One bag of ice as well as an ice jug is complimentary.

INDOOR/OUTDOOR GAMES

Indoor/outdoor games are provided.

ASSESSABILITY:

You will be in the forest, therefore, while the path is provided with lighting and wood chips, it is not paved. It is also at our guest’s own discretion and risk to enter into the river on site and/or cross into the adjacent crown land.

Each structure on the site is slightly elevated; therefore, it requires being able to go up a step.

RENTAL SUPPORT

Welcome guide provided upon check in.
Hosts reside on the property so may be able to assist if needed.

HIGH-END TOWELS & BEDDING

Feel like you're splurging with high thread-count 100 % cotton white bed linens and soft 100% cotton luxury-brand towels. The pillows are plentiful. You'll get the needed rest for a fun-filled day ahead. Step out of that hot shower and relax in the hammock or fireside.

PARABEN-FREE TOILETRIES & DETERGENT

Our sites include environmentally and sensitivity friendly, paraben-free toiletries; dish soup, face wash, hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. (May - Oct due to frost or freezing)
The detergent used to launder the towels and bedding is and fragrance-free. If you are bringing your own toiletries and soap, please be mindful of nature.

To ensure your comfort and satisfaction, the property is cleaned every stay free of charge. We believe in the honor system and trust your space will be treated with care. We are dedicated to address any questions or concerns you may have during your stay.

Please keep in mind that you are still in a wilderness and natural setting - You will need to be aware and prepared to timeshare with nearby wildlife and adapt to weather shifts.

A friendly added reminder that pets are not allowed.
Guests will be asked to leave immediately if pet is known to be on site. Pet cleaning fees of $250 will apply if it is apparent pet was on site at checkout.
