It’s a great fit for families and groups who want more time outside and less time on a schedule. Fish, paddle, relax by the water, then come back to comfortable spaces where everyone can settle in together.
Quiet and easygoing, Walcox Point feels tucked away while still being within driving distance of Birmingham, Chattanooga, Atlanta, and Nashville.
The space
Walcox Point is a spacious 5-bedroom, 4-bath lakefront home on Weiss Lake with room for up to 18 guests. Set in Waterhouse Cove and surrounded by water on three sides, the property offers 850 feet of shoreline, wide lake views, and plenty of space for families, friend groups, and team stays.
Inside, the home is designed for spending time together. The large family room gives everyone room to relax, while the custom dining table seats 10 for shared meals, games, and long evenings in. The updated kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, solid-surface countertops, and everything you need to cook during your stay.
Sleeping arrangements:
Room 1: King bed with en-suite bathroom
Room 2: King bed with en-suite bathroom
Room 3: King bed
Room 4: Four twin bunk beds, one queen bed, and two trundle beds
Room 5: Two queen beds
Two additional common-area bathrooms are located upstairs and downstairs.
Outside, the lake is just steps from the house. Guests have access to a private dock and boat launch, making it easy to fish, boat, ski, wakeboard, or explore the Coosa River. The waterfront porch is also one of the best places to start the morning with coffee or wind down after a day on the water.
Motion cameras are installed at the dock for safety.
