Come join us in beautiful Lake County, CA! Our lakefront property gives you an opportunity to truly enjoy everything Lake County has to offer: fishing, hiking and award winning wine tasting!

Relax on the pier and enjoy the views of Mt. Konocti while making memories with your family and friends.

You'll have 2 fenced acres plus a private boat ramp, pier, and parking right at the dock.

We also have kayaks and a canoe available so you can paddle around and explore the peaceful cove.

The space
Our home, the Oak, offers 5 bedrooms with room for 10! We also have a small playroom for our littlest guests. We love our home and ensuring it is welcoming for our friends, family and guests. Our home is fresh and up to date with welcoming decor, new furniture as well as funky antiques sprinkled in. We pride ourselves on being exceptionally clean with our reviews reflecting that! Our land is almost two acres to run and play with ample parking for your boat trailers and other toys. There are two full bathrooms with showers in the Oak to accommodate large groups. Bathrooms remodeled in 2021 and 2022.

We provide firewood for campfires by the lake along with two BBQs for the chefs in your group. Come join us for beautiful lakefront memories!

New Pier in 2022! Bring your bass boat, float or borrow our kayak to float the day away. Awake in the morning to discover bird watching in the quiet cove as cranes and other local wildlife entertain you over breakfast. Lake County is a bird watchers paradise. Bring your yoga mat for sunrise yoga on the pier or the lawn steps from the water.

Fish from the pier or dock with the cove being one of the most popular places for Bass fisherman on the lake. There is a boat rental in Lakeport that has easy access and a straight line to the house if you wanted to spend the weekend on the water.

Our cove is perfect for kayaking and offers quiet water for bird watching as the cranes, egrets, ducks and lake otters all hang out in front of our home and nest in the trees. Our two mallards are called Bernie and Bernice and they are usually nearby.

The house is fully furnished with all new mattresses and fresh linens throughout to keep you cozy and comfortable. The fireplace has recently been remodeled with stacked stone. The kitchen is fully stocked, along with a new stove that is ready to assist you in making memorable family meals. A long wooden table accommodates your entire party as you watch the beautiful sunset and enjoy the Summer evenings with a glass of local wine.

Our unique property offers two homes for your family and friends that can be rented together or separately. Our cottage, the Fig is a separate booking from the Oak so, please let us know if you want to rent both homes. The Fig has been completely remodeled in 2020 and is fresh, fun and welcoming for four guest with 2 bedrooms. The Fig is not included in this price of this listing. This listing is only for the Oak.

Disclaimer for awful guests: We enjoy hosting people that are respectful of our home and understand that we are a family who has worked hard to provide a relaxing oasis to visitors. Please do not book with us if your plans include illegal drugs, chain smoking, damaging the kitchen and new appliances, throwing parties, prepping your pot harvest, being disrespectful to our neighbors and then complaining that you have seen a bug outside. This is not our intention with opening our home. As a result of our previously negative experiences, we will not rent to those that have no reviews.

Please note: We only rent to guests with previous reviews. This is part of an agreement with our neighbors and the local sheriff’s department to keep things safe and respectful for everyone. Thanks for understanding!

We do not charge our guests a separate 11.5% Lake County Transient Occupancy Tax-this is included in the rental cost.

Do not leave your boat tied to the floating dock overnight or in rough waters. There is also a Public Boat ramp located a few miles from the property.

Property is fenced in. We have security cameras located outside of the home. They are prominently located and monitor the property when we are not home. They are on all entrances/exits of the property including the boat ramp.

Neighborhood highlights

Our home is located lakefront on a cove between Nice and Lucerne, CA on Highway 20. Our property is very unique that it is almost two acres. The property is fenced and secured for all of your lake toys. You can have a picnic in the orchard for lunch after spending the morning swimming in the lake and the evening watching the sunset from the patio. There is a new pier (2022) over the water to fish! Relax under the umbrella and enjoy your stay!

Our family loves to enjoy the great outdoors with fishing, boating, and hiking! We have a beautiful family home in Lake County that we purchased in the Winter of '16 and began renovations. We spent the entire first year reviving a home and property that was neglected for 10 years. It has been very rewarding and we opened our doors in December '17 for our first Airbnb guests.
