Welcome to The Nest on Rough River Lake! Perfect for families and friends, this 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath retreat sleeps up to 12 guests with plenty of room to relax and connect.
Head down the private path to the water for fishing, swimming, or parking your boat. Gather for game nights, rack up a game of pool or unwind on the expansive decks. End the evening around the fire pit under the stars.

The Nest is nestled in nature, peaceful, and gorgeous in every season.

Inside Comforts:
- Both primary bedrooms feature a king size bed and private en suite bathroom for your comfort and convenience
- Smart TVs in most bedrooms
- Sun-filled great room with soaring ceiling and comfy seating
- Well stocked kitchen with large island
- Full-size washer + dryer with laundry supplies
Outdoor Highlights:
- Private path to lake in the summer, leading to on-property water access for swimming, floating, and fishing
- Fire pit with ample seating
- Two decks with various seating areas with nature views
Plenty of parking is available in both in the driveway and along the front of the property. Driveway is steep but parking is available in flat area off driveway.
Lake life looks a little different with the seasons, and that’s part of the charm! The water level is managed by the Corps of Engineers, with a lower ‘winter pool’ during the colder months and a gradual rise beginning in April. Summer pool typically runs from Memorial Day through mid-October, offering the full lake experience for boating and swimming. No matter the season, you’ll enjoy a peaceful setting.
We love pets, but we have a strict no pets policy at our home. Thank you for understanding and for helping us keep the home safe for our family and future guests. Failure to comply with house rules regarding pets will result in an additional cleaning fee.
