A whimsical retreat awaits. Nestled in the countryside 15 mins outside of Pinehurst you will find The Monarch. Enjoy the sounds of nature while relaxing in the hot tub. The Monarch is a 515sq ft tiny home with high ceilings, full sized appliances, a queen bed, queen pull out sofa bed, a wood fire pit, a propane fire pit, ⛳️club storage and a gas grill.
We welcome guests from all over and look forward to hosting you. Check in is at 4pm or after and check out is noon 🕛

The space
The Monarch has one private queen bedroom and an additional queen sized gel memory foam sofa pull out bed in the living room. Washer/dryer is Samsung and offers a range of wash selections. Our hot tub hosts up to 4 people, please do not change the settings other than jets or temperature or you may be charged a $250 fine based on our discretion and the severity of the issue.
We are located in the countryside near Pinehurst. Carthage is a quaint small town complete with a world famous BBQ spot, people fly in to this spot via the runway at the restaurant, The Pik N Pig, 🐷 and numerous Victorian homes near town square. Carthage also has a community splash pad for families. Pinehurst is just a quick 15 minute drive to world renowned golf courses and restaurants.
Time Out Sports Bar and Grill is open late and close to the house.

We do not encourage nor discourage guests bringing whatever they deem necessary to protect themselves, however, if you leave a weapon of any sort on the premises, and it is not recovered by our house cleaner, and the next guest finds it and complains or gets hurt- you are responsible. By bringing said weapon to the premises you are forming a unilateral contract and agreeing to this.

The entire home is available for your enjoyment. We think you will find the wide open and airiness of this home a delight!
Other things to note
Keyless door entry code provided. Please make sure the door is pulled all the way closed before locking. Please use hot tub towel rack outside for wet towels if the weather is good- we try to minimize wet towels inside if possible with the new floors.
Propane provided but please do not abuse this free amenity. Please be mindful of the next guests coming and turn off when you are done using. We had one guest use them all night and they both ran out- they were brand new tanks.

Check out the Summer Concert Series in Depot Park in Sanford, NC.
There is extra citronella for the tiki torches available on the little black table near the propane fire pit. Feel free to fill the tiki torches if you need more during your stay. As of right now, we do not provide fire wood, but you are welcome to use any fire kindling you find near the home as this is a beautifully wooded area except during a burn ban of course. Please be mindful and observant of any burn bans as when a burn ban is in effect sometimes Moore County does not allow burning even near homes.
Please be mindful of the candles in the bedroom. We have had issues in the past with soot but want them there for your enjoyment!
We do have a propane fire pit and provide propane which means even if there is a burn ban in effect you can always enjoy the propane fire pit on the deck at any time of the year.
If you would like, please feel free to write a note in our guest reflection journal. Some of our guests like to do this and we enjoy looking at handwritten reviews as well.
