The space
Welcome to The Loft, a charming retreat with a rich history. Originally built as a hayloft in the late 1800s, as a Hay Loft it was relocated in the early 1900s to its current location where it was used as a seasonal beach cottage. My wife and I came across this unique property end instantly fell in love with its character and decided to turn it into a year-round home, carefully updating it while preserving its timeless charm. We truly hope you enjoy this special space as much as we do.

Our newly refurbished beach cottage, completed in 2021, offers a breathtaking escape with stunning sunset views over a picturesque cove. This waterfront property has been thoughtfully renovated to provide the perfect getaway, no matter the season.

Inside, you'll find a fully stocked kitchen, ideal for preparing meals with loved ones. The cottage also comes with kayaks and bicycles, giving you the opportunity to explore the peaceful surroundings at your own pace. As the evening sets in, gather around the fire pit for cozy chats or enjoy outdoor games under the stars.

The location of the beach cottage is a true gem. Close to the airport, it's easy to reach, and centrally located in the state, offering convenient access to a variety of attractions. Explore local waterfront restaurants, take a short stroll to the nearby beach, or simply unwind in this serene setting. Whether you're visiting in the summer or winter, our beach cottage promises an unforgettable and relaxing vacation experience. We can't wait to welcome you!

Guest access
Guest have complete access to the house yard and amenities. On the front porch of the house there's a wonderful porch swing where you can sit and relax and watch time go by . The house has two floors on the first floor you'll find the main room which contains two couches and a chair also a dining table and a daybed. there are three Alexa's in the house you may unplug them if you choose they have their own network and they do not share access outside of the property and they are strictly For Your Entertainment. There's an electronic fireplace on the wall with a TV mounted over it. be on the dining table there is a fully stocked kitchen with standard sized appliances. Beyond that is the bathroom with a stand up shower and it also contains a washer and dryer. There is a side deck which has a Weber grill a fire pit a conversation sitting area dining table with chairs there is also a shower outside on the back deck.

On the second floor you will find two bedrooms and a 1/2 bath the front bedroom has wonderful views of Buschneck Cove looking up Narragansett Bay and has wonderful Sunset as its west-facing. A California king size adjustable bed with massage will help you sleep at night. off the main bedroom there is a 10 x 12 deck just sit and enjoy your coffee or start work on your tan. There are also two kayaks available for use but you will have to sign a disclaimer before using them. Also we have a few different yard games which people tend to enjoy.

Other things to note
There is room for 4 cars In the driveway, as well as 2 spots on the side street (Ottawa )along the fence.
There are 2 cameras on the property. One camera is a ring doorbell. the second camera is located on the top of the building covering the driveway and grounds. These cameras are there for security and insurance purposes. Tampering with these cameras is a violation of your rental contract
We highly recommend that all guests obtain trip insurance, It allows you to cancel your trip for a variety of reasons and now airbnb offers trip insurance in the app.
