This modern country home w/ cathedral ceilings is spacious & a beautiful retreat for families or a small group. Walk down to the water with a large dock & kayaks. You'll get to disconnect from everything yet not too far from restaurants, activities & stores. The space combines comfort & is a delightful home away from home.

The space
BEDROOMS:
The home’s bright bedrooms offers you a perfect night’s sleep on a comfortable brand name mattresses. With soft cotton sheets and a custom-made down duvet, you’ll be refreshed and ready for another day exploring the lake, nature & the surrounding activities. Generous closet space and two night tables make it easy for everyone to get settled in.

BATHROOM:
There is two bathrooms in the home, with a baths and showers. Plenty of plush hotel-quality towels, bath products, and a hairdryer are provided.

KITCHEN:
If you prefer home-cooked meals or have managed to work your way through all the fabulous local restaurants, the fully-equipped kitchen will help you bring your meal ideas to life. It features stainless steel appliances, including a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, and range hood. There is also a toaster and coffee machine with locally-roasted coffee. Cooking basics, utensils and kitchenware are provided, and a sizeable pantry completes the set-up.

Sit down and enjoy your meal at the 6-person wood dining table with chairs.

The open floor plan provides direct access to the kitchen and living room.

LIVING ROOM:
The open plan living room is the perfect space to relax. Settle onto the comfortable sofa with a glass of wine after a busy day out. Enjoy your favourite shows on the flat-screen TV with Netflix. Country-style WIFI is also included here.

OUTSIDE SPACE:
Walk out directly onto the deck to enjoy a BBQ at the outdoor dining table. Enjoy your get together outside on the sectional. Then, take the staircase down to enjoy the waterfront on the dock. We have a paddle boat and 2 kayaks for your recreational use. The end of the dock is a great place to jump off too cool down on a hot summer day!

Other things to note
The Knox Chalet is perched on top of the Canadian Shield and there is a staircase that guests will need to take in order to get down to the waterfront dock.
As we are in cottage country, you will have to take garbage to the nearest garbage facility with you.

Located only a short 10 minutes drive by the Gravenhurst Wharf and 15 minutes to the centre of town, there are fun activities for everyone. Loon Lake is a long and narrow lake that is connected to Turtle Lake. The lake allows for great water fun activties such as canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and motorized boating.
