Welcome to our family cottage in Windham, NY.

Escape to a peaceful retreat nestled in pristine woodland, where the sounds of a babbling brook creates the perfect backdrop for relaxation. This charming cottage is a haven for nature lovers and those seeking a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our cabin is set a few minutes from town, skiing, and hikes.

The space
Newly remodeled in 2024, The Johnson Cottage is the perfect place for your peaceful getaway. This property has its own driveway with plenty of privacy from the primary home next door. The Johnson Cottage is on the southern edge of the owner's 14 acre property, closest to the brook and the pond.

Guest access
The main floor is open to guests, with a washer and dryer in the basement for use. There is a large mudroom for coats and gear, and a bright great room with views of woods and nature. The kitchen is well-appointed with all of the necessities including a dishwasher and more. The back deck gate and stairs is currently closed and not for guest use until restored. There is a zero entry stone bottom shower, and the bathroom has a heated floor. The King and Queen are Layla mattresses and super comfortable. All bedding has allergen protectors and are allergen friendly.
