Welcome to The Grey Lady. Inspired by the upscale, yet laid back charm of fog-swept Nantucket, the other Grey Lady, this escape welcomes you to have a uniquely designed getaway as you watch the waves. With modern amenities softened by nautical accents, this home tells a story that sets it apart from other rentals and gives guests a one of a kind experience. Relaxing and light with touches of cozy moodiness - The Grey Lady beckons you to the coast.
The space
The open concept living room and kitchen all have views of the ocean, complete with modern amenities and a private balcony. The back bedroom and bathroom with shower/tub is an oasis for relaxing. Even when the weather doesn’t behave, you can still get your fill of ocean views from the cozy seating by the balcony. For stays with more than 2 guests, the sofa in the living room pulls out into a full sized bed. We will leave out extra sheets for the sofa bed for these stays. There is a gas fireplace, but it is unfortunately in need of replacement and quite fickle on when it wants to work, but our wall heaters keep the place nice and toasty against the cool ocean breezes.
We do allow well-trained animals, but if your dog is prone to accidents or destroying we kindly ask that you find another place to stay. There is a lot of jute and natural material in the apartment, and for any pet accidents that happen we will ask for a replacement. Dogs are also not allowed to be left unattended.
Please note - this apartment is on the second floor, and there is no elevator, so climbing stairs is required. We fervently support diversity and inclusion, and welcome guests of all races, faiths, genders, and sexual orientations.

You will have the entire apartment. As this is a condo complex, we do ask that guests are respectful of other units and the property. Please note that this complex does not have an elevator and we are on the second floor.
Other things to note
We love animals here and are thrilled to welcome your pet (with additional fee), but this isn’t the best place for pets prone to chewing, destroying, or excessive noise. Please do not leave your pets unattended if they get anxious and make noise when you are gone. Please keep this in mind before booking, along with those who have pet allergies.
Additionally, there is no smoking in the unit or on the balcony, per condo rules. There is a $200 fine from the complex if you or any of your guests are caught smoking on the balcony, plus additional fees for mitigating smoke smells inside the apartment if anyone smokes inside the unit.
Please note- at this point, the hot tub is needing repairs and is unavailable for use, but the pool is still open for use :)
