Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
This is an eclectic space that was a former art studio. The artist who lives just next door, keeps a private working studio in the loft. Although it is inaccessible to our guests, you will see her art on the walls and her creative side in the large lady shown in the pictures.

Firepit and wood available.

5 hiking trails on 300 acres! Nov7-Dec 7th we will have hunters and trails may not be available

Important: please read the house rules before booking with pets. We do also have a pet fee.

The space
(Please note: Nov7-Dec 7th we will have hunters on the property and trails may not be available to hike.)

Come hike our 5 trails and feel free to roam and explore 300 acres. Our guests come to hike the trails, connect with nature, practice photography, meditation, write or just relax.
1 floor, 24x28 feet of artist inspired decor with all the comfy ammenities you need.

Please note: We have 3 dogs that run loose; a maltese, a Yorkie and a labradoodle. If you bring dogs, we will do our best to keep ours at our home, but this is not always possible.

Our trails are beautiful when in full bloom and when covered with snow. Come and connect with the outdoors and then retreat to your Getaway for some cool AC or a campfire and hot chocolate.

300 acres is quite a big property and with many trails to enjoy, and directions to hike, we're confident you'll have a great stay!

Guest access
You will have access to the main floor with everything you need for your stay. (You won't share your space at all, as the artist will not be in residence during your stay.) Just come, relax, unwind and soak up the inspiration.

Phone Service: guests tell us- Verizon and AT&T work great. Sprint is spotty. T-Mobile and Boost do not connect. But really, you're not coming to be on your phone you're coming to connect with nature. Use this as a good excuse to disconnect :)

Other things to note
about breakfast:
we provide you with free range eggs,(if the chickens are willing :), quick foods like snack bars and instant oatmeal, sometimes a piece of fruit and always coffee for breakfast on your own. If you need cream or other item you may have forgotten, just ask. We're happy to share.

My work: Naturopathic Dr, CFH
Most useless skill: Stacking dishes a mile high to dry
I'm a serial entrepreneur with a love for family, freedom and travel! I'm a Naturopathic doctor and love educating on health and fitness. Here, at "Acres of Nature" retreat, I additionally teach classes using culinary and medicinal herbs foraged here on our farm. Want to join in? Ask about foraging classes. Check out Insta @ Indie_life_and_soul. We feature Airbnb experiences, Tiny house living, happenings here at Acres of Nature, and most of all, encourage you to connect with nature! My off days, you'll find me on the farm gardening, gathering eggs, maintaining flower beds, cutting trees...you get the idea. My favorite daily is reading and hiking. I love the peaceful area by the creek.
