The space
The Enos Farmhouse – A Rare Restored Retreat in Sonoma Wine Country

Welcome to The Enos Farmhouse, a lovingly restored 1900s farmhouse nestled on 3.5 sun-soaked acres just five minutes from downtown Sebastopol. This is one of the last standing original farmhouses in the area—a quiet witness to more than a century of life in Sonoma County. What began as a retired homestead has become, for us, a labor of love: a soulful restoration filled with intention, care, and deep meaning.

We didn't just update this home—we brought it back to life, preserving its historic details while layering in comfort, character, and modern touches. If you're looking for a place to slow down, to reconnect with nature, loved ones, or yourself, this space was made for that.

Inside the Home: Vintage Charm, Modern Comfort

Walk through the front door and you'll immediately feel its history—from the original oak hardwood floors to the light filtering through antique windows. The main level offers a spacious, open-flow living room and dining area—perfect for family meals, card games, or curling up with a good book. A thoughtfully updated kitchen makes cooking a pleasure, and our curated coffee bar (with pour-over, French press, and Keurig) sets the tone for slow mornings.

Also downstairs is a dedicated office space with high-speed fiber internet—ideal for remote work, journaling, or simply enjoying a quiet moment. Though we haven't converted it to a bedroom (yet!), the downstairs has plenty of space to stretch out, relax, or create.

Upstairs, you'll find four thoughtfully designed bedrooms: two with queen beds, one with a full bed and en suite bath, and one with a twin-over-full bunk bed—perfect for kids or extra guests. Each room is designed with comfort and simplicity in mind, using natural textures, calming tones, and high-quality bedding.

Outside: Land to Breathe, Soak, and Explore

The home sits on 3.5 private acres, offering space to roam, reflect, or simply watch the light shift across the hills. In spring and summer, pick blackberries and wander through wild grasses. At sunset, head up the slope behind the house for a glass of wine and a view that stretches for miles.

End your day in the private hot tub—the ideal way to unwind after a day of wine tasting, with a glass of local Pinot Noir in hand. The outdoor patio is set up with comfortable seating, a gas grill, and just enough lighting to linger outside after dark under a sky full of stars. It's perfect for al fresco dining, morning coffee in the sun, or gathering as a group to share the day's stories.

Other things to note
As with any historic home, The Enos Farmhouse has its own rhythms and quirks—we think that’s part of its charm. Here are a few things to know so you can feel comfortable and prepared during your stay:

Climate Control: The downstairs is equipped with central heating and air conditioning. Upstairs bedrooms stay cozy with wall heaters in the cooler months and standalone fans for summer days. We also provide extra blankets to ensure a comfortable night’s rest year-round.

Water Pressure: We’re on a well system and have recently upgraded our entire water pump setup to improve performance. That said, water pressure can be briefly reduced during high-usage times (e.g., back-to-back showers or simultaneous laundry). We appreciate your understanding as we balance comfort with sustainability.

Nature & Wildlife: Being in the countryside means sharing the land with a variety of critters—big and small. While we clean thoroughly and use preventative care regularly, it's not unusual for the occasional spider or field mouse to wander in. We do everything possible to keep the home spotless and comfortable, but we kindly ask for your grace in the event of a surprise visitor. No refunds will be issued for minor encounters with nature.

Parking & EV Charging: There’s ample parking available on the property, and we also offer an Level 2 (220V) electric car charger for your convenience.

House Rules:

We kindly ask no pets and no smoking anywhere on the property.

Violation of these rules may result in cancellation of your stay without refund. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us keep the space safe and welcoming for all guests.

Fireplace:
We have a non active fireplace. Use of the fireplace is prohibited.

Hot Tub Rules:
Our hot tub is available for your enjoyment daily from 8:00am to 10:00pm. Please note that a slight green hue is normal. We are on well water which has slightly higher metal content. Perfectly safe and usable.

To keep it clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone:
• Maximum capacity is 7 people
• Shower before entering to remove oils, lotions, and sunscreen
• No glass in or around the hot tub
• Always cover the hot tub after each use to retain heat and keep it clean
• No children allowed without adult supervision

We’re here to make your experience as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. If you have any questions before or during your stay, don’t hesitate to reach out!
