A wonderful and stylish retreat with walkability to local amenities and less than half a mile to the train which takes you into the city. The neighborhood park, pool, and fitness center is just 3 blocks away, the neighborhood grocery store is 2 blocks, and the downtown area of Forest Park is less than a mile! Leave your car in the included parking space and enjoy local restaurants and shops or hop on the train to get into the city of Chicago!

The space
This garden unit is bright, spacious and thoughtfully designed. The living room offers plenty of seating, a smart tv, games, and books! The space is open to the dining room and office area. The king bedroom has a full closet and sits off of the main living space and a queen bedroom at the back offers a full closet and a large walk in closet with space for a pack n play or toddler bed (available upon request). The space is ideally set up for 4 guests, but with the walk in closet can accommodate a small child as well. The remodeled kitchen is FULLY STOCKED! All full sized appliances, everything you need to cook at home and plenty of room for your groceries in the pantry cabinet. We provide a toaster, blender, hand mixer, bowls, pots and pans and more! Just outside the back door is laundry and a place for shoes and coats. One parking space available for our guests to use as well. We tried to think of everything to make your stay comfortable but we live close in case you need anything.

Guest access
Parking is available in the back of the building. You can walk or drive to parks, restaurants, shops and more! The train is less than half a mile from the property and you can get downtown Chicago easily on the Blue Line L.

Other things to note
Please note, the unit is suitable for 4 guests plus one small child. Let us know if you need a toddler bed or pack n play which we can provide upon request.

Take an Uber to the Farmers Market which is hosted in Oak Park every Saturday from 7:30am-1:30pm from May 22nd through October

Adam and I are both real estate agents in Chicago, IL. We run a successful team and own a few multi-family properties in Forest Park. I grew up in Oak Park, which is the neighboring community, and absolutely love what both Forest Park and Oak Park have to offer. We have two daughters and love to travel with (and without them :)). It's been a dream of mine to run an airbnb, so we turned a couple of our long term rental units into vacation rentals. Funny enough, we actually lived at 'The Belvidere' while we were remodeling our nearby home! Our kids felt like they were on vacation! We are excited to welcome you to our space, whether you are here for a retreat away or bringing your kids along. I grew up in a large family and our doors were always open. It was a rare occasion to just be with our immediate family for dinner growing up because, whether it was my dad's patients (he's a dentist), neighbors, or some gal who was living with us at the time, our table always had room for "one more." I loved growing up in a hospitable home and love getting to know people. I think Adam and I have brought balance to each other's lives because he naturally would keep more to himself and I would likely have every night of our lives booked with something or other. Things I can't live without are my husband and 2 beautiful daughters, my extended family (I have 6 sisters 2 brothers, and 18 nieces and nephews), Friends, Food, Wine... We look forward to hosting you in our charming space!
