“The Pink Cottage” is a charming one-bedroom private building nestled into a beautiful historic property in South Yarmouth. Enter through the pergola patio, enjoy a spacious living space with dining and kitchen area. The one-bedroom with large closet is comfortably outfitted with all linen necessities, full bath with stand-up shower. Outdoor shower just off the patio, grill and more! Very quiet and private.

The space
The living space is outfitted with a futon sofa, that can convert to a full bed, chairs, stools and tables and all the comforts of home including throw pillows, blankets and a cozy gas stove fireplace. You'll enjoy cable TV that can adapt to your streaming services and dedicated Wi-Fi for remote work days. A dining area can be expanded for visiting friends. The kitchen includes all the necessities pots, pans, dishes, bowls, toaster, full size fridge and more.

Just add food and drink and you're ready! Your bedroom with a queen-size bed and memory foam topper also includes a dresser and full closet. All your linens, sheets, towels, blankets and coverlets are ready for you to dive in!

The patio protected by a pergola - just a perfect summer cover includes outdoor dining furniture and grill and then pass through the white picket fence to your attached out door shower! A perfect ending to a fun beach day at one of our many local beaches! Beach chairs and towels are available for you too!

The Pink Cottage is located at the back of the property and snuggled into the back corner for a perfectly private get-a-way!

Guest access
The one acre property is beautifully landscaped and we often can be found pruning, weeding and keeping things up to date. A private parking area to the rear of the property easily houses parking for our three units.

Guests may enjoy all the property has to offer. Birds, bunnies and blooming flowers and trees mark each season. The tranquil Koi pond and waterfall is a great place for an evening cocktail or morning coffee. The fish are fed each morning and evening and we've enjoyed watching the faces of our young guests helping us feed the fish.

During the warmer months, corn-hole and chippo golf amenities are available for a little friendly competition. Beach chairs and beach towels are also available in-season.

The property is located within the Bass River Historical area and a short walk through the beautiful neighborhood brings you to the Judah Baker Windmill and small beach along the River. It's a special spot, often providing a beautiful backdrop for weddings and special occasions. Continue along the road down river and you'll arrive at Smuggler's Beach, just a mile from McBurns on Main.

The beauty of the location is while quiet and private, we're so close to beaches, shopping, dining, groceries, liquor stores, golf and mini-golf and central to all the Cape has to offer.

Other things to note
The Pink Cottage along with our other two cottages, The Boat House and The Jelly Shop are available year-round for guest get-a-ways. While summertime is the crown jewel and books quickly, the fall is a particularly beautiful time of year with warm days, cool nights, summer attractions, but not quite as busy!

The holidays are a particularly favorite time of year of ours as we transform the property into a holiday wonderland, lighting the large outdoor Christmas tree after Thanksgiving. Each cottage is tastefully decorated to celebrate the season and love when guests feel like they are in a holiday movie!

Winter provides its own charm, and has been a fine time of year for writers and artists to escape to the private and quiet sanctuary! It's the time of year to "live like a local" and enjoy the year-round restaurants and attractions!
