Beautiful area

This home is in a scenic location.
This Copper Pearl, inspired by Pearl de Vere, is a victorian home with a hot tub that was built in 1890. She is a beautiful gem located directly behind the west parking lot of the Wildwood Casino in Cripple Creek making it a perfect location for accessing the fun that is the town of Cripple Creek. There is a casino shuttle that is on demand and can take you anywhere in town. The home has had some beautiful upgrades but also has some unique and classic charm. She is over 130 years old!

The space
This Victorian home is 2054 sq ft and it is a charmer with so much character. It has a copper colored roof and a wrapping porch that often hosts the local hummingbirds. They love to share space in the morning while guests enjoy coffee on the porch. The house name was inspired by Pearl de Vere, a local madam from the gold rush era in the area. I highly suggest you stop in to the Old Homestead House to learn more about her with a tour. The kitchen is upgraded with a gas range and stainless steel appliances. Please note the house is on a sloped lot and there are entry stairs. While not super extreme, a few of the interior floors do slightly slope as is often characteristic of the homes remaining from the era. She was built in 1890 so doing pretty fantastic all considering. The main suite is downstairs and has a bathroom that joins out to a hot tub with a ton of privacy. This red room features a king sized bed. The upstairs bathroom is under renovation but is fully useable and in working order. The other bedroom (blackberry color) is upstairs and has a queen and twin bed. There are a couple of nice common areas upstairs. This includes a nice sitting room (green color). This serves as a second Room with television in case people in your party need the extra space. The house does have a gas fireplace in the living room for cozy conversations and a gas stove upstairs that heats the whole floor. Please come enjoy the art nouveau/deco features that made me love the home. There is a ton of fun to be had in town and when you’re ready for a soak after all the play the hot tub will be waiting. There is also a pull out couch in the den as well as a pack and play for our smallest guests. There is also a portable high chair available. The house has a karaoke machine, an Alexa, and a SmartTV. Each bedroom has it’s own television outfitted with a Roku. The yard is fully enclosed and ready for your pups to come visit with you. It is a perfect location to be close to the fun but also have some privacy, space, and relaxation with your loved ones. Hope you enjoy The Copper Pearl!

Late checkout a bit beyond 11am may be available upon request. There is a $35 charge so if interested please reach out and inquire as the lock settings will need adjusting.

Other things to note
Please note:
1. There is some tasteful nudity in some of the artwork on display at the house.
2. Please be mindful there is wildlife in and around the area of Cripple Creek. Information on our beloved donkeys can be found on the Two Mile High Club websites.
3. During and after inclement weather it is incredibly important to watch your footing. There is a shovel and ice melt located within the enclosed area of the porch.

Please be aware of falling snow potential in the winter and never stand directly under any roof ledges. Falling snow and ice can cause injury. It is important to be aware of your surroundings.

4. There are areas of the property that are off limit to guests. They are marked with signs and should not be accessed.
5. The red wood stove is not for guest
access aside from in no power/heat emergency situations.
6. The main den tv is a smart tv. All of the others do have a Roku. There is not cable nor regular local channels. You are welcome to use your accounts. Just make sure to sign out prior to departing.

Neighborhood highlights

Historical Cripple Creek hosts around a dozen casinos for those that play but is rich in Colorado history as well. It was a booming and heavily populated town that created a lot of wealth in the state through the local mining. Aside from the casinos, there are so many things to do from outdoor activities, train rides, visiting the goldmine, taking historical tours, and saying hello to the famous Cripple Creek donkeys. There are also a ton of day trips accessible for guests that want to venture out a bit. Cripple Creek is approximately a half an hour to Woodland Park and and hour to Colorado Springs.
