Guests will enjoy easy access to everything PEC has to offer from this centrally located home. From walking around historic Main St. in downtown Picton, to the best restaurants, wineries, attractions and Sandbanks Beach. If you prefer staying close to home this great backyard features both a heated pool and hot tub.

The space
The Carrington can accommodate 10 adults (age 11+) and 5 children (age 10 and under including infants) as per the property's short term accommodation license.

Step into this beautifully renovated, turn-of-the-century home—your perfect spot for making lasting memories with family and friends! With over 3500 square feet of space, including two spacious living rooms and a dining table that seats up to 12, this is the ideal setting for your next getaway or dinner party.

Each of the 5 bedrooms is furnished with a super comfy queen-size bed, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.

Guest access
Some amenities are walkable, however Prince Edward County is a large region and driving is necessary to access many attractions. Alternatively there are multiple options for local bicycle rentals (including electric bikes) if your group prefers to explore more of what the county has to offer. Or bring your own!

If you are looking for taxi's or scheduled wine tours by bus or private car we advise you book them well in advance to your stay.

Other things to note
Please note that the home has a 6th queen bed in the loft bedroom. The cleaning fee includes linens for 5 beds. Guests are welcome to bring their own sheets for the 6th bed.

The pool is open seasonally from mid May, until mid September. The hot tub is available year round.

Please note that while this home is large, parties are not allowed and there a strict no tolerance policy for excessive noise.

Step back in time with a trip to Macaulay Heritage Park. Catch a film or a live performance at the Regent Theatre. Strap on your brain bucket and drop in to the bowls at the skatepark. It’s located in the fairgrounds where the first local fair was held in 1836. Sail in through Picton Bay to the harbour and marina, where you can dock and walk right into town. After you work up an appetite visiting lookouts, conservation areas and museums, then stroll downtown to the many pubs and restaurants serving up locally-sourced food, drink and live music.
