This 1867 farmhouse was just lovingly restored to what we imagine it might have been in its former glory, minus the cows.
Adorned with mid-century modern decor, 100 acres to play, gardens & games for days plus a wrap around porch made for sunsets and consuming copious amounts of County wine. The Brighthouse is a space designed for comfort, inspiration, adventure and relaxation.

Other things to note
THE GOODS WE HAVE:
A/C
Gas fireplace
Netflix + Smart TV
Dishwasher + detergent
Laundry + detergent
Shampoo, conditioner, suds
Hairdryer that should do the trick (she’s no Dyson)
THE GOODS YOU SHOULD BRING:
We’re in the country and that’s how we like it, but it does mean we’re on a well. We dig the clean, safe, county water but if you think you may not bring along some H20.
THE GOODS YOU SHOULD KNOW:
We have the best WiFi money can buy but it’s still country WiFi not city WiFi so plan accordingly. We've never had a problem streaming music, using it for work emails or zoom meetings, or mindlessly surfing socials for hours on end, but if there are 4 people on it all day long (hard at work) I'd expect some slow times or to have to hotspot your phone for a super important meeting with your boss. This is just a guess, we've never personally tried to work all day in the county... that's a wild concept – we're a stone's throw away from the happiest happy hours at some of the best wineries in the province: live a little!
We have a gardener and property manager who will visit the property once or twice a week to cut the grass and water the gardens. They don't interact with guests and keep their distance (taking extra precaution due to Covid) but please advise in advance if there are specific days or times you would prefer they avoid tending to the property.
THE GOOD AIRBNB GUESTS…
… Will be responsible for leaving the house in the same condition as they found it. Which means in the event damages occur the guest will be responsible for covering those costs. This includes stained sheets, duvet covers and towels with things like makeup, self-tanner or oils.
… Recognize that The Brighthouse Farm is our family business, that also serves as a professional photo shoot locale. So, if you’re looking to use our space for a professional photoshoot we’re happy to oblige. Please contact us to discuss. And if you use our space as a backdrop for promotional purposes without notifying us prior, please expect an invoice!
In order to book your stay at The Brighthouse, you must confirm you will be a guest. Thanks for respecting this request.
